Only got one. Ruger 10/22 Deluxe I bought used in 1986. It's a terrific squirrel and all around fun gun and I just never felt like I wanted another .22 rimfire rifle.

It would be a hard choice between my Kimber 82G or my Marlin 39A. I guess it would depend on the perceived need at the time.

Alien Attack Imminent

Gort of the Senior Eraser Command is monitoring this.
We'd best get our biggest, bad, multi-round .22 available.

P.S. - I like Marlin 60, 39A, Ruger 10/22, and some of the Remington, Savage, Stevens, Springfield (and others) too.

You go, Dawg! Yeah, good man.

Remington 597. I own two of them because I was so impressed with the first one. These things are tack drivers.

I think that posts like this lend ammunition to the anti gunners. There is no limit so why consider only owning one gun, publicly.

j1,

But what would an anti use ammunition IN?

Seriously I do not see this as lending any thing to any anti. It is just a fun way to have folks participate in saying what their favorite rim fire boom stick is. and maybe post some nice pictures.....and it seems to be working.

1938-40 Winchester Model 61 pump chambered in .22 S, L, & LR...inherited from my maternal Grandmother which she kept for the first born grandson (me) after her husband past away before I was born.

Today, it would be my Marlin 60. Never had a problem, and it is more accurate than I am. If I had my dad's 39A, that would be definitely my first choice, but I wouldn't give up the 60!

I think I would go with my CZ FS and my trusted HR 999. Both shoot much better than I can. They will also last much longer than I will.

AR 15 with dedicated 22 upper or my upgraded 10/22 with match grade barrel and volquartson trigger. 10 shots can be covered by a dime at 50 yds .
