I've got my SKS...I've got a mount from www.scoutscopes.com but I cannot find a scope short enough that brass won't bounce off the scope. So maybe a red dot. Which do you guys recommend? NCStar? Millet? BSA? Tasco? I'd like one bright enough to see during the afternoon sun and one that doesn't use a ton of batteries. As a requirement...the scope cannot cost more than the SKS 120 bucks....thanks.

I've been very happy with my Hakko TACPOINT (fake aimpoint) that I mounted on my AR15. Cost about $85 or $90 when I bought it. Has never had a problem holding zero.

I've seen quite a few of them pop up on the AR15 equipment exchange.
