Out of the component suppliers who has the good "overall pricing" and good customer service. Good customer service meaning things either ship quick OR ship when the company tells you they will (some vendors are being very honest about ship delays). Good customer service also means you can call or email and your calls & email are answered.

Please DON'T hijack the thread and talk about how tough the times are, how crazy it is, how hard it is for some companies, how we should have planned ahead, how we should not expect timely shipping, how we should not expect friendly people on the phone, etc... If you are tempted to type something that is not on topic please find another thread & go there. :D

This is just a POSITIVE list of the ONLINE (not an LGS) companies that are doing a great job.

Here are the ones I've had good experiences with:
- Gamliel's Shooting Supplies
- Third Generation Shooting Supplies
- Natchez Shooters Supply (phone waits are long but they are very nice & helpful when they answer)
- Gunstop
- Midway

Most recently for me is Natchez Shooters Supply. I ordered a few items on 4/1/2013 & they shipped out 4/3/2013. They sent a email with shipping info on 4/3/2013, tracking shows it's arriving today.

I'm a fan of Midsouth. I've never had a problem with them. Midsouth usually has the best prices (in a one stop shop).

Midway is also good, but Midsouth seems to have better pricing. Midway is also kinda weird about backorders, you have to watch them, best bet is to avoid the backorder thing with Midway.

The comments above are based on my experience alone. If you are offended by my opinion ..... don't pay any attention to it.

YMMV.

It's tough to beat Missouri Bullet for cast components.

Midway is reliable, but their shipping and 2X shipping charges for backorder stuff is not at all consumer friendly.
I've had OK luck with Brownells.
Natchez can be just plain odd at times, but generally OK service.
Third Generation Shooting Supplies good so far

I've learned a couple things:
Currently Natchez cannot cancel orders. You have to receive the items & return them. They are good about accepting returns.

E. Arthur Brown & Co. does not have real time inventory and will notify you the next day if your items are in backorder.

I will also vouch for Midsouth and Natchez. One thing I like about Midsouth is that they are still accepting backorders- granted, it can take a long time to fill them (it took around six months or so in 2009/2010 before I got my two cases of primers), but they do complete them in my experience.

Natchez is definitely another good one, I've ordered several times from them and have always been pleased with their service.

ETA: I have had very good experience with Gamaliel as well. It seems they are mainly shotgun folks. Back in 2010 or so, I was trying to find (2) eight-pound kegs of 2400 and Gamaliel had exactly two in stock, from what I remember they shipped 'em very quickly.

Natchezs
Powder Valley
Midsouth

I really wanna try Wideners but haven't had the opportunity of anything being in stock.

Widners as well. They are not a super large outfit and as such lots of stuff seems to be back ordered when things are busy. But top notch with everything. Powder Valley, Natchez, Mid South, Hunningtons, Graff and Sons and Midway USA are my usual suppliers. Midway will have slightly higher prices in general but they will have stuff in stock when others have run out often times.

Good luck with Brownells in the last week despite there notice at the top of their pages.

Pre-Newtown, I've had really good luck with returns to Midway. Anymore, I don't order from them unless a b-day discount comes in. Then I buy a lot.

Pat's Reloading is also good. I purchased 1000 rounds of 5.56 for $399 +shipping AFTER Newtown. They did not go up on their prices.

Idoono

RCBS. The wait was long, but they helped me out and were courteous.

Falcon Bullets. Good prices and 1/2 price shipping. They ship when their website says they do, or email you if there is a delay. Call 'em, they answer or call right back. Email 'em, you get a response from a real person pretty quick.

Widners
MBC
Midway

Several of my favs.

The more pertinent question these days is "who has any inventory at all"

Four months into this fiasco, and there's not a 55 gr. .224" FMJBT anywhere to be had....

Nor a pound of H335 or even W231

I'm so incredibly sick of this situation!

Powder Valley--- one-stop, good prices, excellent services (when any stock is available)
sometimes Graf & Sons
Both are good companies with good people.
