Why do people like Gunkid do it?

"The best thing that could happen is that there be some law, rule, method of eliminating this anonymity." -post #15

I choose to put my name at the bottom of my posts, that does not mean that i begrudge everyone else the right not to. Even if some annoyance follows. That said, I don't know what the moderators have to deal with.

Sorry, Digital, we purge his posts as soon as we find his latest incarnation. The theory was that perhaps losing 10 hours of typing in .2 seconds would cause him to quit coming here, but that hasn't worked.

Given that his time is worth nearly zero, or actually a negative (on account of the fact that he's on the dole) he can afford to give away as many posts as he wants and have them lost to a purge.

After all, if his time is worth nothing, then his posts are, too. Simple economics and a concept that I suspect he realizes at least on a primordial level.

Justin, in his case I'm afraid that primoridial might be the top level.

See, at this point we're assumming he has fingers. I'm not sure if they actually count as fingers with those big webs between them.

I bet I'm going to receive PMs about how mean I'm being, (like I do every time I've ever gotten mean on this board), but you guys out there really need to understand that Gunkid just plain sucks, and takes a lot of the fun out of moderating a gunboard.

We tried that but sadly it nails a couple of other good posters. See, I hate Gunkid to the point that I thought a little collateral damage was acceptable, but Oleg is nicer than I am. Last time I checked, I think Justin was willing to lose 25% of the board to get rid of him, and I think pax actually wanted to nuke Pagosa Springs from orbit, just to be sure.

Optical Serenity, he has gone through hundreds of names. The only sure way to spot him is by his writing style. Picture this: Take a mentally challenged chimp, now hit it in the head with a brick a bunch of times. Now imagine this chimp trying to write something profound. Note: English is not the chimps first language.

There you go.

...which is exactly why I didn't ban him by IP yet. I think I'll just find a zealous individual and make him or her the permamnnt moderator of Gunkid. His or her sole job will be to keep an eye on him on various forums on the net and ban him with extreme prejudice if he ever shows up on our forums again...which he undoubtedly will, since he loves SHTF discussions and that is the basic theme of my boards.

Why couldn't he have been into custom Hondas or something? :banghead:

BTW, I like Pax's idea, but I'm a jerk, so take that with a grain of salt.

So, it's pretty easy to spot him then, right?

Heh...

I only had to go through three of the links to recognize who all are talking about. I've seen Gunkid before (because I lurk on quite a few gun boards) even though I haven't been here very long. Those links helped me put a troll with an actual name.

I must say he's quite a loser.

Justin:
Yeah. He must be real proud to know he's a bigger loser than the entire online furry community.

Wow, a slam on the furries comes out of nowhere!

Ha ha, it always cracks me up when online communities comment on the lameness of other online communities.

Are the furry gunnies out there (if there is such a thing) going to let this slide?
...Will justin feel the challenging slap of a furred pawed glove?
:D

Hardin's out of jail? Information on the Shooters forum was that he was dialing in from the prison library.

Has been for quite some time is my understanding.

I must say he's quite a loser.

Biggest one I've encountered on the internet, and that's really saying something.

Why? It's much more fun to bag on gunkid.

Since I don't swing that way, I certainly hope not. :p

Do a search for him over on Glocktalk. Specifically on the Survial and Preparedness area. He used to shoot competitions back in the day with some world class shooters. They all said he was OK not great or anything from what I gather. He is a convicted felon and we should report his browsing the forums. If we could try and make it a point to inform his parole officer / probation officer about him harassing people online he could hopefully go back to the big house.

By the way he has his own forum.
