Why is the 1911 not a "beginner's gun"?

Lots of folks have lots of agendas. What can be used for something doesn’t imply superiority, and only a fool would try to promote such here as a flimsy strawman.

Ain’t that cute… Ridiculously incorrect, but it’s cute…
Well, since this is... "The High Road" I'm not gonna go with my first instinct and believe that you're purposely trying to be insulting, even though you'd imply that another member is a fool promoting a flimsy strawman.

Actually, upon further review, if this is what you're reduced to, ridiculing other forum members for stating known facts, while not actually responding to what other members have said, sorry bro, you're just not worth engaging with.

Have a great evening.

The "2011's aren't for noobs" thread is over there. ->

Given they are operationally the same and share the vast majority of parts. Even the couple of different parts are the same, only made wider for the double stack magazine.
I'd say they don't really need a new thread.

And I thought we were talking about the 1911 being an "expert's pistol," not whether or not it was capable of high performance. Of which, some of us still believe, it is.
The reason for divisions in competition is so the others can have a chance. :neener:
