one day i saw a 15 round single stack for ruger lcp and wondered "will s&w ever make a 15 round single stack mag for the shield?"

if its not too long it would be great to fit in the pocket.

Yeah, this makes no sense. I don't think anyone would buy one.

Will anyone make a 6 round magazine for an Uzi ?

I have a Springfield XDs, with stock 5 round (.45) magazines. It came with one extended 7 round magazine, which I never use. Not only does it defeat the purpose of a small gun, it doesn't feel the same as it would if you pulled it from a holster and had to actually use it... unless you carry with the extended magazine, which isn't too logical.

If I were S&W, my answer to your question would be, "No, why would we?"

S&W will not.
Some aftermarket company may at some point (ProMag comes to mind) but it would defeat the purpose of having such a small pistol.

I don't think a ten round magazine would be too absurd, but anything beyond that and you brought the wrong pistol to the fight.

Do you really want a mag that sticks out THAT far from the bottom of the grip? (You said single stack!) That would be a bit like wearing big clown shoes with a new dress suit --You can do it -- buy WHY?

Want a 15round m&p buy a compact and use a full size mag with an x grip on it. 15 round mag in a shield would make it look like a glock 19with a 33 round mag stuck out of it, foolish.
