I was thinking today, once the AWB ends, will I change my current CCW handgun?

At least for now, I will most likely stay with my current primiary carry gun -- a S&W J-Frame that I have owned for years.

Once the AWB sunsets, do you plan on changing your current CCW handgun?

If so, from what to what?

 :p

Nothing will change for me. I ve never owned a hicap pistol and have no desire to own one. Most of my autos hold 8 and that good enough for me.Iam just glad its going a way Was a stupied law to begin with. The anti-gun people will come up with something else. Because it gives both sides something to do and makes lots of people lots of money, and thats what America is all about money.

Don't see any reason to change. Guns made for large capacity generally don't conceal as well.

I would like to pick up another G19.
I got tired of paying $80 for standard mags, so I traded my last one.

But....my CCW won't change.
The more concealable, the better.
Either a P3AT, PM9, or Glock 36, depending on clothing.

If the AWB goes away I'll probably change from my P7M8 to a FiveseveN IOM. The 20 round mags will be a more than 100% increase in capacity, with the added bonus of being able to shoot through level II vests, windshields, car doors/hoods. And it makes gungrabbers soil themselves... :D

Still won't be able to get the AP 5.7mm rounds. So, then you have a very expensive Grendel.
I'll get some hi caps for the (hopefully) new CCW peice, if I can get a new CZ75 PO1 soon. Other than that, just buy a few more for the other guns - and the 13 rounders for the wife's CZ2075 RAMI!

Since all 3 primary "carry" guns hold 8 or less, no difference here.

But, I will probably pick up another handfull of "standard capacity" mags for G17.

I'm keeping my G19. Only now, I'll be able to afford the standard capacity magazines. I've already got 4 of them preordered at Topglock.;)

Have no plans to change either of mine. Both are 1911's, one in classic .45acp and the other in 10mm. They have done the job for the last three years, and I see no reason to change that.

The civvie legal SS192 hollow point rounds are almost as effective as the military SS190. Look in the handgun forum at www.ar15.com for the thread with photos.
