Did anybody else see that last night on GSN? Basically the premise of the show is 5 contestants get asked a bunch of questions and five judges discuss them and boot them off one by one.

What is relevant to this forum was the discussion on right to bear arms.

Of the three remaining contestants.

1. retired white southern woman. She said she has a hammer for protection but would prefer to have a gun.

2. hot 30 something self employed hispanic single mom. Has a gun and believes in right to defend herself and her child.

3. very young black male. Evangelical christian missionary that wants to be a clothing designer. a by all evidence a genuine and real nice guy that I think ended up winning. He said nobody should own guns.

The judges.

1. twenty something white male ex marine. Hem haws around but agrees people have the right to bear arms for self defense.

2. 50ish black male. Same tap dance attitude but still agreed people should be allowed to own firearms.

3. 30 something male I believe was hawaiian or asian. Same PC bull but agreed people should have the right to arms. He created a stink earlier for saying he did not like blacks.

here is where it gets interesting.

4. 20 something white female. Rabidly anti gun. This is not the wild west any more. Every talking point an anti can bring up including VT.

5. 20 something white female. She argued very ferociously with the anti woman and looked at her with an incredulous look like she was the stupidest creature on the planet. Just totally unbelievable.

I found this totally fascinating that given the subject of RKBA came up on a reality show at all and that 6 to 2 were in favor of RKBA AND it was the women who were the most passionate about the subject one way or the other. Women were 3 to 1 in favor of RKBA for practical self defense reasons.

America is wising up even if the politicians are stuck ten years in the past playing their same old dance. 10 years ago I guarantee any 'hip' person put on the PC hot seat would of said guns bad bad bad bad. Not today. I am pleasantly shocked.

Go to gsn.com and search around for it, you can watch the whole episode but its chunked up and just watch part 2. It's actually pretty encouraging, almost all of the views expressed were pro-gun. A lot of cliched arguments but still, the doofus anti woman got knocked out of the park, although she did get the last word.
