How is the trigger?

Some take up (about half, possibly more, of the overall trigger travel) followed by a heavier, but smooth, non-stacking length of travel until the striker releases. Reset is short, not requiring full length travel of the trigger. I don't have a trigger weight scale, but I'd guess the final bit of trigger travel requires something in the 5-7 pound range to fire the pistol.

I fired 50 rnds of Federal 230 ball without a hitch and with decent accuracy. Then, 20 of Hornady's Critical Defense, no problems. Had about a dozen Federal Personal Defense laying around and it took them without a hiccup--and probably had the best accuracy. You really can't go by my accuracy reports because I am a really bad shot.
