Yep, that'll void the warranty...

What's up with the seven-year sentence? Maybe it's just my imagination, but I could have sworn that getting caught with an illegal NFA boomstick was a mandatory 10-year to Uncle Sugar's House For Wayward Boys 'n Girls. Did something change while I wasn't looking?

I've never shot anything , dont want to waste the ammo :D but a few unfortunate S.O.B. items have felt the heavy end of a hammer.
sounds like this guy needs to get with the program , the rehab program .

I don't have a problem destroying something that I own and hate with a gun, I just would do it out in a big field where nobody is around, or at a range if they allow it (probably not safe if there are other people there though). I've never done it, but I don't theoretically have a problem with it.

I quite frankly would like to take my old computer to a big empty field one of these days, fill it with tannerite, and take a shot with a .50 cal from far away.

Unfortunately, I don't own a .50 cal or tannerite, nor is there a big empty field anywhere around, so I'll probably just sell the parts at the flea market.

Should it ever come up, .303 British is the proper caliber for 1/2 height MFM/RLL hard drives. Soft points, if they hit the spindle dead on, will take the platters right out the back.

There is a Lawn-Boy here on the farm that has been nothing but problems since we got it. Been to the shop several times and it still doesn't work. I've thought about dispatching it recently.

I'm not a fan of Harry Homeowner equipment. I've used nothing but commercial equipment all my life, and I refuse to use anything but.

I know, I'm spoiled :D

I'm really confused here - not only do I not get pulled over by the cops, but I've had pretty good luck with lawn mowers.

I just buy the cheapo basic hardware store brands with B&S engines. Change the oil every spring and clean the air filter several times a season.

I had an 18" x 3.5hp for over ten years. Finally left it at the house in town that we sold, since by then I had bought a 22" x 6.5hp. It still ran.

The 22" high wheel has been mowing my ~1 acre lawn around the house now for five years, plus doing a neighbor's yard sometimes. I finally had to buy a new blade after mowing too many rocks and stumps. The "walk behind propulsion system" ;) is failing, but the mower is still doing fine.

I open carry while I mow the yard (gun related).

Off-topic but Years ago, Lawn-Boy was a real good product. I wouldn't waste good ammo on one these days though. Gimme a $100 B&S powered Wally-World special any day. Keep the plug, gas and oil clean and it will last longer than the mower deck will!

I look forward to the day that I can mow my own lawn.

When I lived in an apartment for 3 years I didn't have a lawn. Before that in a dorm room I didn't have a lawn. Now that I've moved back in with the folks to save some money before I go off to grad school and have a real place of my own (a town house or small house most likely), the gardener does all the work.

I like winter though, because then I get to do all my custom yard-work in the front of the house in preparation for my giant holiday light display. I tell the gardener around late September to not touch anything in front of the gate and guard wall. That way by Halloween everything is overgrown and perfect for putting together my scary display... and then after Halloween I custom trim it all to be best for the light display. After the lights come down in January he takes over again though. :(

I have always wanted to shoot an old TV or computer monitor just never wanted to have to clean it up.

Been there, done that, not really impressed.

158gr out of a 4" mod 66......nice entry, no exit wound. TV was plugged up and turned on at the time(in the yard of course).

Hmmmm, I guess I should confess to shooting my cell phone with a 357 mag a few weeks ago. It made a great target. That's one POS that won't ever bother me again.

Just put a tarp under it and cart the body parts away when you do it.

OK?

I've shot junky old stuff, lots of fun, but I've also cleaned up the range or shooting spot when done. My mommy died in 1983 and I've had to clean up after myself ever since.

We've had too many good informal shooting aeas closed recently because of the junk left lying around.

I often want to shoot my tv - mostly because of what's on it at the time, but I never have -- mainly because when I am of a mind to shoot it, either:

I'm running fever and sick and the wife won't bring me a gun.

I'm perfectly fine, but the largest caliber handgun I have is a .357, and the level of stupidity displayed by my TV really calls for a .45 or at least a 44 Mag.

My next gun purchase will be a 45 revolver, so the TV's days are numbered.

My Lawn Boy died about a month ago and I replaced it with a Craftsman. It's still sitting in my driveway if anyone wants to come pick it up for target practice :)

Shot a John Deere 14T hay bailer with several calibers over an extended period of time. I knew I would have to eventually have to clean it up so I never shot the tires.

well, it has been said many times, booze and guns dont mix. to bad this guy could learn it the hard way. i can understand his frustration, but you have to be smarter than the equipment you operate! and yes, i do agree, modifications of this sort WILL void the warranty.

Anyone see the shotgun? Was it really sawed off or just a shorty with a pistol grip? I had people tell me my Mossberg 500 was a sawed off when I knew better. It was a factory set up, well within the law. Still not a bright idea to shoot the mower while drinking. Heck it wasn't even a good idea to be mowing while drinking. Just saying.

Once met a gentleman who could not get into his Garden Shed, lock froze up. He tried to un-freeze it with a 9mm Browning, no it did not work, lock is OK.

The 115g bullet in his foot must have hurt, must of hurt a lot.

Nope, a 9MM won't take a good Master Lock off. I've tried it. Next try was with my 300 mag. That did the trick. That was the last time someone locked me behind a closed gate.
