Yesterday's Hunt

Yesterday was the first day of Oklahoma deer gun season. Decided to use a Remington 700 in .30-06.

Occupied the blind at 07:00 and left at about 18:00.

At about 09:30 a huge coyote showed up about 80 yards distance. Shot that coyote and checked him a couple hours later. This coyote was fully capable of killing a deer. He had recently killed something, there was blood on feet and forelegs.

I shoot every one I see even if it messes up my deer hunting ... same with hogs.

i shoot coyotes and hogs. Don't matter if old mossy horns is 20 seconds away.
