Hey gang,

I have bought just about every handgun I own after consulting this forum and I have yet to be dissappointed, so here we go again!

I currently carry a Para P10-40. LOVE the gun, I am just getting a little tired of the weight. It is small, but it is all steel with a double stck mag. I love having 10+ shots of .40 on my hip, but I am getting tired of the weight. I always feel like I am adjusting it and that everyone can see it (even though I know they can't).

I don't mind going "down" to a 9mm, I love 9mm, .40 but have never owned a .45.

My local gunshop gives lifetime warranties on every used gun (gunsmith on site) and I have bought almost every gun I have owned there (GREAT service).

All guns are in at least 98%+ condition.

What should I get and why? Or should I just keep the Para?

I held all these guns today, all felt fine, and I don't have any problem shooting many different kinds of pistols accurately.

Whatever the poll decides is probably what I will get!

Help me out!

If you are happy with the Para why sell it? The Kahr would make for an easier carry when the Para is too inconvenient, as would the Glock (but to a lesser extent).

As a carry gun, Glocks are tough to beat. I also like Kahr, but because of what is coming w/ the Glock, it is really a good value ;)

The Glock. The 26 is small enough to be carried in an ankle holster or a pocket holster.

BTW, Glock 17,19 and 34 mags also function in it. So does the 30 round mag.:D

I don't understand - could you clarify please?

The Glock comes with 2 mags and night sights...I think he means $500.00 is a good price for a G26 with these options.

Keep the votes coming! I am buying one of these guns next week!

Its not on your list

But, If your tired of the weight, check out the Kel-tec P11. Mine has been flawless for 500 rounds, and I can now hit with it:D They take some gettin used to!

I voted kahr k9. I carry a k40 and i think it is one of the best ccw there is and has ever been . they are totally sweet. I also liked the fact that it is steel framed, even though it weighs a little more you will forget you even have it on. You won't go wrong with the kahr's any of them, but I have fired almost every variation of the kahr, and the polymer frames just don't do it for me, go steel, like i said they are sweet!

I voted for the stainless Kahr for a couple reasons...

First the poly Kahrs have been problematic.

Second. this was a tough one, the single stack stainless Kahr is more easily concealed than the double stack G26 or 27 (that would be my other choice). The Kahr really isn't that much different in weight... The Glocks seem heavy for polumer based firearms...

Look also at the Springfield XDs... And the Sigs (e.g. 229 and 239) which are alloy framed and available in single or double stack as well as DA or DAO (DAK).

One last bump for a few more votes.

By the way, the V10 was sold already so that is no longer an option.

Will be buying on Wednesday!

Thanks for all the replies...this is why I love this forum!

Kahr K40, not K9

I hear ya...unfortunately they do not have a K40 in stock.

However, I am MORE than comfortable protecting myself with 9mm and the K9 is a sweet feeling piece.

Keep 'em coming, I will buy what gets the most votes this week!

Voted for the CZ.

Of course, why get another gun for a lightweight CCW when you already have a 3913LS?

Check out my signature now...I sold the 3913 a few weeks ago, was my wifes carry gun and she did not like it....

I went out and bought the RAMI...starting new thread with pics...
