Thought this might be interesting just for the responses...

Left school today (CST) and came straight home and logged on here just to see what was new, and found some good stuff...
Thirty minutes (or more, don't keep track of time that well) after I logged on, I had already put my two cents in on about three different threads and checked and rechecked another thread I started a few days ago. I also started looking for some replacement parts for my Beretta 90-two.

I think about guns all day at school, and as soon as I get home, and even dream about cycle operations (more like nightmares, but they still involve guns)

Anybody else think I'm crazy or obsessed, or am I just a red-blooded American exercising my right to freedom and opinions?

No pi$$ing contests, please...

I shoot matches of some kind every weekend. I have guns on the brain quite a bit of the time - and yes - they appear in my dreams constantly.

Lately, I dream that I am cleaning guns, only to have parts (that have already been cleaned) fall off the table and into any number of dirty situations. I get very upset because I am on the clock for something, like a match is about to start... and I have to keep recleaning guns. Very frustrating!

I also had a dream that somebody stole my guns from a picnic I was having for myself... as usual, I was picnicking while cleaning my guns. All guns were in a state of disassembly. I guess I had to go to the bathroom or something, and when I returned, two guys were walking off with all of my guns (in pieces) in an open duffel bag. I caught up to them and demanded my guns back. They acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. I grabbed a 1911 frame out of the sack and a barrel, slide, etc. and started the reassembly process as fast as I could. The guy holding the bag did the same thing. Whoever was going to finish their gun first was going to win the gunfight. I won, but I won't describe what I did to the guy.

Next thing I knew, I was in Texas at a Del Taco drive-thru with a co-worker I haven't seen in 11 years.

Hmmm.

At least you guys (presumibly) only have one main hobby. I've got a project trans am to work on, an R/C heli that doesn't get flown near as much as I'd like, and probably 10 or so other projects/hobbies I'm forgetting at the moment. They keep me busy though, I never seem to have enough time for all of them at once :D

i can cure your nightmares
get a glock you wouldnt even have to clean it ;)

Similar problems here. I distract myself through all my classes on THR or on the topix.net Guns section.
I can't say I dream of guns yet... I'm too busy making shoplifting apprehensions in my sleep to bother with shooting.

You know you're a gunnie when...

your mom asks you to clean your room and not to shove everything in the closet when you reply, I cant the closet is too full with gun cases

^ Brian or when your dad comes over to tell you mom found one of your shirts in the laundry room and when she openned your closet she freaked out. (Its stacked with ammo) Then he asks how did you get a GSG-5?;)

Guilty as charged. Was up at 530am on here. on my days off when i am at home with nothing to do im just hanging our on here. otherwise if i get a chance im going to the range

You might be a gunnie if you don't know how many guns you have without stopping to list them. If you DO know then you don't have enough.

That described my day pretty accurately. Even usually have guns in my dreams too :)

Though my other obsession is vehicles (my truck in particular :) )
