Not a custom gun at all...a Smith & Wesson Model 29-1 or -2 just like Harry Callahan carried in San Francisco (Dirty Harry DEFINITELY would not exist today ((not that he really did then))). Not just the revolver but also the holster that he used in the movies; I am 6'4" so I can conceal it (somewhat).

This is a curiosity and conversation post.
If you could have any one (1x) revolver built to your specifications, what would it be ?
My personal choice would be a USFA SAA, in .45 Colt, w/ a 3” tapered barrel, birdshead grip, Bisley hammer, and hook style front sight, with extended base pin, total coverage engraving by any given master; and built as a Sheriff’s Mdl- milled flat where the ERH would normally protrude through the frame…
I'm curious about this comment, The overwhelming majority of revolvers produced in modern times and in days of yore have fluted cylinders. And this then combined with the fluted cylinder, from old... just does it for me...

My dream revolver?
The one that I shot in a blinding
rain storm while riding a horse
at full gallop and hitting the X-ring
with 18 shots from 70 yards away.
That's my dream revolver.
Sounds like a High Standard Double Nine, but they only came in .22 and .22 magnum.my dream doesn't exist, and i'm guessing never will.
ruger vaquero or similar gun that is double action. looks just like the vaquero/colt peacemaker, etc.... old, cowboy style single action guns that is double action. same size, same fit, etc...
but i want the transfer bar safety. if i'm carrying a sixgun, i want it to be a sixgun, not a fivegun.
