When I'm 80 or 90, if my wrist can still take it, I'll have the 642 in my pj pocket as I shuffle around, and the 13-3 for walking out in the yard and traveling. Pretty much the same as I do now!
If not, I guess I'll do what lots of older folks do and pack my .22. It has a magnum cylinder, so I'd probably load up with that.
If my thumb couldn't take the thumbing back in a hurry, I'd have to use my .22 Ruger Standard auto, or get a S&W 317 or something.
