I just completed a switch to 9mm Glocks for duty and most personal-time carry, as .40 recoil was becoming a bit much for one of my aging, aching wrists, whether shooting lefty or right-handed. (The support hand does feel the force of recoil, too, when using a good thumbs-forward grip.) With a pair, each, of G17 and G19, plus a G34, acquired over a 3.5-year time span, the next logical step is a G26, for on-duty back-up. it is not that I necessarily need a G26, as I already have other small handguns for that role, but a G26 is a leading contender for my next handgun, most likely a "blue label" from a local police equipment store.
If I buy a handgun before Summer 2016, it will likely be a G26. Everything else would probably be postponed beyond that point, as the second quarter of 2016 is a potential time for me to retire. (Or, I may well work a few more years.)
An AR15 lower receiver is a serious consideration. I already have a lower receiver parts kit, and a logical next step is a receiver that is not designated as a rifle receiver, so I can build either a rifle or pistol.
.22 LR target pistols are appealing. Several options have my attention.
I like single-action revolvers. I have "enough" of them, but as my attention turns from surviving the big-city streets, to rural walking-about, well, something new will probably appeal to me, sooner or later.
Nothing I have mentioned here will be acquired by accruing debt. I use an American Express card for most purchases, but it is paid, in full, each month.
