Your pick for a single stack 9mm that is NOT a 1911 design

Put another check by the 3913. I love mine and I just bought my wife the 3913LS for her birthday/first handgun.
 
My pick would be the Star BM. I wish a modern company would take this design back into production. With a modern alloy frame it would be an awesome carry gun.
