Your pick of 2 shotguns one smaller one larger and your pick of 2 rifles one smaller one larger.

i would go with...

Shotguns

20 gauge 11-87

12 gauge citori

Rifles

308 M.700

270 WSM A-bolt

Shotguns:

Remington 870 Marine (12-guage, 18.5" barrel, is that small enough, or did you mean a smaller guage?) for home defense

and

A Remington 1100 Premier Super Magnum (3.5" chamber, 12-guage, 28" barrel) for hunting/skeet

Rifles:

My 1960 Winchester 94 .30-30 Lever-Action

and

A 16" Gas-Piston AR-15

Are you a philanthopist who wants to give away four guns to each caller or a closet gun controller who sees limiting people to four guns as a start on the way to zero?

ill play

Shotties;

870 w/multiple bbls, stocks and chokes
Savage or other combo 22lr over 20ga

Rifles;

New mod 70 in '06
AR in .223

Well, picking from what I have, I'd go with:
Mossberg 590 12ga 9rd tube pump action with ghost ring sights
Ruger O/U 20 ga with screw in chokes
Winchester Model 70XTR 30-06
WASR-10 7.62x39 or Bushmaster Patrolmans Carbine M4 5.56 NATO (depends on how well the AR performs accuracy and reliability wise once it actually doesn't rain on one of my days off like it has since I bought the darn thing in December :banghead::mad:)

I'd feel VERY comfortable with these choices to fill and need I could have, really.I considered throwing in a 22lr instead of one of the model 70, as I could use the AR or WASR for deer if needed, but with the right loads, the 20ga will work just as well small game, so the 22 would really only win out in ammo cost over anything else.
