If you could have one shotgun, one pistol and one rifle, what would it be?

rifle: winchester 94 30-30
shotgun: rem 870 express 12 ga
pistol: S&W 629 (preferably pre-lock)

Shotgun: KTS (if its worth a damn when it comes out : )
Rifle: Springfield M1A
Handgun: S&W M&P R8

This is not an easy chore I hope you know.
It would have to do double duty so here you.
45 ACP COLT 1911 with a Kimber .22 conversion. Maybe some other bbl slide combos.
Savage Tactical .308 with a good scope.
Remington 870 platform in 12 ga. 3 inch mag.
I would hope my wife and kids would also get 3 choices each.

If I have to go with what I have it would be:

1) Ruger Vaquero .357 (more reliable than my RIA GI .45, and 357/38 will do it all from SD to Food)
2) Mossberg 590 (it's what I could afford at the time but an 870 would be better)
3) Enfield Ishapoor .308 (Possibly one of the most battle proven rifles in existence as they were still in service with India, Pakistan and Afghanistan until the 1980's).

The shotgun is the do-all be-all weapon from #9 to slugs it will do whatever is needed from snake control to grizzly.

Shotgun: Model 12 Winchester with an 18 inch barrel full tube mag and heat shield. Getting soon.
Rifle: Ar15 will get next spring when I get done with basic and tech school.
Pistol: My Para 1911, although I have started getting a fondness for my new Smith638.
This was painful just to let you know, only three:(.

If I could only own one of each type, they would be:

Shotgun: Benelli M1 Super 90.
Pistol: HK45
Rifle: Remington 700SPS .308.
Revolver: Colt Python, blued 6" with rosewood grips.

Of the guns that I have now, I would probably go with
Shotgun: Benelli Super Black Eagle II
Rifle: Entreprise FAL (full size, bipod, purse carry handle)
Pistol: Sig P228 in 9mm

The rifle is subject to be changed to my underfolder AK should my main concern be close quarters defense or being able to use it in a vehicle. A FAL with a 21" barrel and flash hider is a bit cumbersome in close quarters, but it is nice when you have the choice of rounding the corner or shooting through it

As far as future upgrades, I would probably swap the shotgun to a 870 or 500 with extended mag and short barrel. The FAL would get a Para folding stock, but I would eventually try to find a DSA 16" Para folder with optics rail on top. And for the pistol.... I wouldn't be opposed to picking up a suppressor for it

I actually have it already.

Shotgun - H&R Pardner Pump, 12-Gauge, 18.5" barrel. Just need a Birdhunting barrel and a Rifled barrel, and I'm set for it.

Rifle - Enfield No.4 Mk.1, .303 Enfield. A big, heavy, hard-hitting rifle. Kinda like a good english woman. Not much to look at, but she'll take good care of you. Getting me a Sub-Caliber insert to fire .32ACP so I can use it for varmit hunting, and switch over to the big hard-hitters when I need to.

Handgun - Taurus PT111 Mil Pro. Hey, laugh if you must, but it was cheap, it feels good, points great, small, comfortable recoil, and good capacity. I'd trust it with my life. And if a 9mm Compact isn't good enough...well, that's what the Rifle and the Shotgun are for.

Rifle: Knight's Armament SR-15 lower (I'm left handed with rifles) attached to a 12.5" Noveske 6.8SPC upper.

Pistol: Kimber Super Carry Pro. (with 100 premium cartriges already run through it, since Kimbers are usually too tight out of the box. :D)

Shotgun: Holland and Holland 12-bore Over-Under. Yeah, I went overboard on this one. No, I do not own one. I can't spend sixty grand on a shotgun, I just can't. However, I am accepting donations.

rifle Oswald's carcano, pistol JW booths derringer, and maybe napoleon's shotgun which I would sell and buy several of the good serviceable beaters that I already have and love. A marlin 39d, stevens 16 ga double, H&R handirifle with several bbls, a service six, some savage 24's, a win 94,savage 99,etc etc. The older I get the less these "what ifs" interest me but I fell for this one.

OK let me think ummmm......

LWRC M6A3 in 6.8x 43mm

HK MK23 .45

Saiga with a pistol grip and all the tactical fixins
