I thought you were ! That johnson of yours looks good enough I double my first guess to $4000 . The others are accurate. The .284 pre 64 Model 88 is a bit low too, there were not alot made pre 64 and they were quite popular in their day and for good reason as they were very accurate for a lever gun because of the one piece stock , and very smooth quick shuck with a decent trigger. The .257 Featherweight does command more value than some other calibers . The .375 H&H pre 64 is allways desirable and it took me 40 years to find a sweet one that I could afford.
