Viewing the other thread, I thought a poll would be in order.

Strictly curiosity, we call probably know how they answers will fall.

How many guns do you have?

From the other thread:

I have only a few. 14 to be exact.
3 12 gauge shotguns
1 20 gauge shotgun
1 .270
1 6.5x55
1 .22 LR rifle
1 .22 WMR rifle
4 .22LR handguns
1 .38 special handgun
1 .357 magnum handgun

For what I do, those cover the bases just fine. I'm not much of an accumulator of things just to have.

Nunya. :) Not to be a jerk but I could never post a count of things I own. I do believe that everyone should own as many things as they want or can afford.

I don't post specifics. Rarely pics.

But, the poll doesn't identify WHO.

Collectors will have many types and variants of a specific arm. I knew a guy that collected old Winchester lever actions. His goal was 1 of everything 1873-1894. He had ever 100, but still looked for missing caliber or special features.

Wife has stated, hope the Police never have a reason to storm in. The media will go bonkers on "the arsenal and ammo stash"

Each gun has ammo and plenty of it.
Yet, I went to gun show yesterday, to see shot might catch my eye. Some did.

7 is always a good answer, if forced to give an actual number.
At least it seemed to be a good answer whenever someone asked "how many women have you been with?"

Which is basically the same question as the one posed here. So I answer with a number that's not so low to seem ridiculous, but also not so terribly high to be alarming.

Whether or not it's the truth, who knows?

As I reply to any insensitive person who asks that question, one for trap, one for hunting and one for defense. Never give a complete answer. Information like that leaks out to the wrong people way too easily.

7, a perfect answer. I think I'll use that from now on for the curious that I care to talk guns with.
