Affordable 22LR (Lowest shipped pricing)

For my 22LR pricing threads, I put cost per 500 in parenthesis so members can do comparison per 500 rounds. :)
Okay… understood.

But with bulk packs varying by count, the days of the standard brick of 500 are gone. I prefer to look at price per round. Makes it simpler for me.

But this is your thread, and I appreciate you starting it. I did enjoy the one you created a few years ago.

Sportsmans in Reno yesterday had stingers in stock (Stangers), $20 per 100,

Interesting was blazer brass 9mm was also $20 but for 50 both of these prices were double what they were pre pandemic.

Also, 200 green tip 62gr 556 were $169 at sportsmans and at Scheels the same identical 200 pack was $129

Scheels also had 231 powder and sportsmans had hp38

Scheels had some bulk pack stuff (in a plastic bottle) I think it was golden bullet, but I did not look at it much as I was looking for variety of ammo brands to test my new precision .22s and this was not on my list.

Since Norma is selling Tac-22 for less, I will drop that vendor for now.

But keep in mind I am just posting a listing of "in stock" 22LR at lowest prices including shipping for THR members. Ultimately, members need to make the final decision on who to order from.

I sent them an online message regarding form of payment. They accept credit cards. They seem to be legit to me. They're on my list, now.

The ammo shop online is free with $200, but Normashooting.com is free with $150 order. I get my 9mm from them.

Uh all bets are off with diesel at $5+
Maybe not for those driving EVs and certainly not for solar powered EVs (While I like our Ram EcoDiesel that averages 27 mpg and Pacifica with 28-32 mpg, looking hard at this solar powered EV with 1000 mile range for $25K) - https://aptera.us/

Their .22 ammo is garbage.
Sorry to hear. Mine is from late 1980's, perfect stuff and will deliver consistent x ring accuracy every time from bench even with my WW2 Erfurt SS trainer. Was actually "free" as i traded the owners of a long gone Orangevale CA gun shop a bunch of rusty guns that were at the bottom of lake to adorn their walls.

I still ship quite a bit. I predict sustained/increased diesel prices, alone, will impact any "free shipping" offers and the price of everything form food to tp. Both big (UPS/FEDEX) reps called yesterday with warnings of immediate increased "fuel surcharge" fees. A review of net auctions sellers found many replacing fixed shipping costs to "actual shipping" in last 2 days.

If you are concerned, then stock up while "free shipping" is offered.

I have quite a bit of 22LR stocked up from last shortage and will continue to monitor 22LR prices before I stock up again.

If $5 and up for 50 rounds is “affordable” …

Definitely a sad state of affairs, prices. Locally it’s $5.99 per 50 or $11 per 100, limit 100 per visit.

Thanks OP for the thread.

10k on the way. CCI standard velocity from Target Sports USA.

Well stocked here. I agree best grab what you can while you can. Speaking of cans folks are stocking up on canned food here.

I remember during the great 22 shortage from several years ago, there was a guy that was always at the gun shows that always had what I would call vintage/collectible boxes of 22, mostly from the 60s and 70s. Some of it was pretty cool stuff, some even from the 50s. Point is, he didn't raise his prices like the ammo dealers so I would buy his for a lot less than the new stuff. I enjoyed that.

I guess so. :D So are $0.60/gal gasoline  (That's lowest I can remember)

Hopefully THR members are shooting up stocked up 22LR bought when they were $16-$20/500 shipped (That was less than 3 years ago) - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...15-20-500-shipped.853059/page-2#post-11168848

Lowest where i worked was 15.9 cents for regular and 6 for diesel (1967). Prices now on everything may go Weimar Republic on us, Watch how shipping costs alone may kill ammo sales.

I’ve been picking up Federal Automatch at my local Walmart for around $22/325 rounds. Last time I did the actual math on the receipt, it came to $0.07 per round out the door.

Only other .22LR was Winchester in a yellow box for $40 per box. Can’t remember the quantity but way over 7 cents.
Same here, and the Winchester is 300rounds for 40+tax, i just got the federal, great ammo for plinking
