Personally, I think you should add the Valtro 1998 A1 to the list.

They are quite rare and when they ever do actually come up for sale, the price just keeps going up. I'd be amazed if you could find an unfired example for under $5000 these days, but probably a bit more. That's if you can find one at all. I haven't seen one for sale on Gunbroker in over two years now.

As for the Wilson and Nighthawk, they're nice 1911s, but still built at a semi custom shop. I don't see anything overly special about them and I've got multiple Nighthawks and Wilsons, including a Super Grade. Again, great 1911s, but not special.

The Valtro is certainly more on par with some of the others on your list, just due to its rarity and price.

bc1023, if for some ungodly hypothetical reason you had to sell that Valtro, what would you place the value at?

I am curious because I have never even seen one on gunbroker....Until now it has been more or less like the chupacabra :p

I'm not sure. The last one on GB sold for $5500 I think. I believe it was unfired, just like mine. That was a couple years back.

Mine is still NIB. I took it out just to take a couple pics. I've got plenty of shooters, but the Valtro won't be shot.

Well that seems like a great price on a gun that is serving as an even better investment! Congratulations on that fine piece of craftsmanship....if it isn't obvious, yes, I am a tad jealous

That its not just about 1911, because three other 1911s there as well.

Im guessing its actual feasibility?

The Nighthawk is unobtainium only 1 was "sold" to the public #5.
Paul's, while around the same price of a Wilson comes with 1-2yr wait.
The F/A's might as well not be listed since they not available to a citizen. Yes I know there are a few copies of the 93 in the registry, but no real Berettas that I know of.
The Astra is a wildcard, Not sure if there are any in the US or not???

So your left with the CZ, DW, Wilson and Sig....

Les Baer TRS Hard-chrome with completely naked slide. Owned a Brown, MANY Colts and even a Springfield Pro. Still this is my favorite both in terms of form and function.

Beretta 93R. Not only are they not adding any to "the list" (and the list had very few to begin with), they were my favorite gun when I was a kid.

I never heard of any of those in the list. Expensive and rare?

Here is an old pistol that I have.
