Here's mine.

Simple carbine with tech sights and a GI sling.

I changed it up a couple of days ago. I cut the factory scope base in half and mounted the front half on the receiver. Then I mounted my primary arms reflex sight on the half base. It mounts/detaches quickly with its thumbscrew. I Put a few hundred rounds through it in that configuration yesterday and it works well and the reflex sight retains zero when removing and reinstalling. I prefer the tech sights for accuracy, but the reflex is fast.

Here's one I built from a Nodak receiver with an R/T accurized bolt, KID 2-stage trigger, 21.5" Clark mid-weight barrel, Boyd's tacticool stock, Tech Sights front sight in a Marbles base, Nodak rear sight with Tech Sights T200 module. In LTR mode with iron sights.

As a long range rig with a Bushnell Elite 10x in this shot.

Here's my "tactical" that I built for midnight pest control. I flipped a VQ extended base backwards and machined it for clearance over the Tech Sights rear sight. T/S front has an 0.080" XS white stripe post. Drilled & tapped five extra holes to secure it and the rear sight. It currently wears a Vortex red/green Strikefire. There's a VQ hammer, PC bolt release, mag release and Superior Concepts bolt knob. The stock is a Tapco T6 with an extra forend rail, Magpul CTR and VFG. Sling is a V-TAC and light is a Surefire M4. I also finished it in Brownells' olive drab Aluma-Hyde II, which turned out beautifully and is holding up very well. It does everything I need it to and nothing I don't.

I put one together for Dad last Christmas. It's a little simpler and began with a Ruger 10/22FS with the factory installed birdcage. Tapco T6, Tangodown foregrip, Primary Arms red dot, V-TAC sling and I also put a little Maglite XL50 on it. Shown with the rifle above with its original Tacstar T9.

Modified factory stock- I added 2-inches to LOP, 1-inch to grip, and 1/2-inch to riser, flip flop butt pad, pillared and bedded, finished with bedliner. Green Mountain tapered fluted barrel, tuned bolt (by Que), Tech Sights, Kidd S.S. trigger and charging handle/rod.

Ruger 10-22 and Simmons 4X scope.

Here's a couple of old pictures of mine, nowadays it has a silver scope to match the stainless receiver.
Modified target stock, 2½lb trigger, hand lapped OEM barrel, Caldwell composite bipod, fully suppressed and buffered. 1MOA accurate up to about 75 yards and it's whisper-quiet. Not exactly tacticool nor does it have many aftermarket parts, but nearly everything that's in it has been modified, polished and tweaked. And I love it.

Of the half dozen or so 10/22's I've owned I guess my favorite is this old job with laminated stock, Shilen barrel and Kahles 2-7X RF scope in Talley rings. It shoots reasonably well too.

Not finished yet, but lots of fun. My wife has decided she wants one in pink...

VQ hammer, mag release, bolt release, and extractor.
BSA 3-9x40mm sweet .22 scope
Superior Concepts bolt handle.

Lots of custom parts. More than I can remember. Shoots lights out though. I bought the Boyds Tacticool stock unfinshed, mixed the stain and finished with tung oil.

I have since stripped and polished the receiver but my camera broke before I could show off my work.

That mag pouch on the stock is slick! Well done!

I know this isn't a true 'custom', as it as a Ruger factory option.. still it's a neat set up. Ruger 10/22T twisted hammer forged stainless barrel, Tasco 6-24x target scope.
