What is your EDC?

Like many others, I can't CC at work, and in an effort to keep any knives as "tool-like" as possible, I usually don't carry one that most would consider tactical in nature. Instead, my usual workplace EDC consists of a Leatherman Wingman and some sort of non-assisted folding knife, usually a Kershaw or Gerber. Although I rarely have a flashlight on me, I have one on my office desk and a couple in my vehicle's glove box and center console.

Off the clock, it's a different story. Then I carry a Bersa BP9cc in a Bianchi Pro leather or Barsony nylon IWB holster, the aforementioned Leatherman and a Kershaw RJI knife. I have some nicer knives, but keep coming back to the RJI.

I can't carry at work, so when I'm not there it's a Shield 9mm or a S&W 640 Pro.

In a few weeks I'm going to add either a Colt Mustang or a Sig P238 to the lineup. Logic says Sig, as it already comes with night sights. The heart, which wants what it wants, says get the Mustang, shoot the crap out of it, save up some more, and spend a whole bunch of money at Cylinder and Slide tricking it out. Nobody ever said the heart was the smart one.

EDC is a Colt or Ruger 1911 strong side; a 2.25" SP101 on the left. Both reside in Simply Rugged leather.

Gen. 4 GLOCK 20 in a Glaco King Tuk IWB holster. 1- spare reload in my off hand hip pocket. Samsung Galaxy S5, Streamlight PT1L, Imperial KampKing pocketknife....

LCR carried OWB, pepper spray, a Spydeco Tenacious most days and a pen knife i rotate out daily from my modest cigar box collection. Days off i might rotate the Tenacious out for a Kershaw Chill.

I like the 511 Select Pistol Pouch for jogging and biking. My R9 sits in a Nemesis holster, in the pack. The select carry pistol pouch stays flat on my body and doesn't bounce or flap.

It is shown here without the Nemesis holster ^

I didn't have a chance to post photos of my EDC so I thought I would do that now. First is my EDC Semi-Auto Version, then my Revolver Version, and finally my Just the Essentials/Lightweight Minimalist Version.

I switch between a colt light weight commander that I bobtailed or my Kahr P45 in a bianchi foldup holster, either with a spare mag in the left front pocket. I also carry a spyderco in the left rear most days.

Phone, wallet, keys, Benchmade folder, asthma inhaler, and...

for cold (heavy coat) weather, 44 special snub

for cool (jacket or two shirts) weather, 38 snub

for warmer (shorts and t-shirt) weather, the tiny Kel-tec 380

Nice Bianchi holster! I have a similar one for my 44 snub and I love it.

Please excuse the bad cell pics.

I tend to evolve/devolve every so often with my belt carry, but no matter what I have on my hip, for the last couple years I've always had a .38 Ruger LCR in a front pocket holster and a Kershaw Blur clipped in the back pocket.

The last couple months nearly every day I've carried a Springfield Loaded in a hybrid/frankenstein IWB I made by putting a Blackhawk plastic holster on a homemade leather backpiece. Before that I usually carried a Glock 26 in a similar setup, but I haven't had the urge to get it out of the safe lately.

A week or so ago I bought back an S&W Model 10-5 I'd sold to a relative a long time ago. Have been carrying it off and on in a homemade stitched leather IWB.

Incidentally, I always use a 5-stitch Wilderness Instructor belt. It's the best forty bucks I've ever spent buying gun gear.

Can't carry at work, but when I'm not at work, it's been Glock 19 gen 4 in a Raven phantom holster worn IWB, spare G17 mag, and a Benchmade Griptilian

Depends. On the day, on the weather, on where I'm going, etc.

Either this .25ACP:

This .38 Special:

Or my, admittedly usual, .45 ACP:

Mine

Rotates between the only handguns I own at this time: Ruger Redhawk 7.5in (yes it actually gets carried in the holster show either strongside or crossdraw), Glock 21 gen 3 (in a basic bulldog belt slide), and the newest member Glock 42(in either the shown ankle holster or a homemade pocket holster.) These get accompanied by a Streamlight Stylus Pro and Kershaw folder.
