Belt is a basketweave duty belt. On it rides a Kel-Tec PF9 in a soft-side IWB Tagua holster, worn between the belt and pants.

Huh?

You wear a duty belt in plain clothes with a IWB? That's a new one.

Erky Dery, here goes my list:

Off duty:

-A floral tooled, Hecho in Mexico belt made from a piece of leather I could beat an elephant to death with and a belt buckle that could blind people on the moon.
-Some S&W folding Karambit knife whose blade is slowly turning purple probably due to it's primary role as an apple slicer
- M&P Shield
- Monster Hunter International Zippo.
- Stupid work issued cell phone

On duty civies:

-Same belt as above but now with matching holster, mag carrier and cuff case
-M&P 9
-Same apple peeler and zippo.
-Streamlight PT2L
-bright pink polycoat handcuffs, because if I'm hooking you up, you get to wear the cuffs of shame.
-Same ball and chain phone

On duty uniform

-Everything and the kitchen sink (now with PALS attachments).

My EDC for the last 40 plus years has been a NAA .22 short in my pants pocket. The only time it is not in my pocket is when going on an airplane or where not allowed. When in uniform it was my BUG.
Occasionally, 95% of the time, on my waist is a S&W J frame, most recently a 637 airweight. Out of necessity a small folding knife to open those little ketchup packets and a comb with most of the middle teeth missing, (for the Dr. Phil look).

I am glad the NAA was your BUG only. At less than 35 fpe I do not want it to be my main gun:),

It's funny now that I think about it. My past interests included knives. I don't care much now about them. But if I have my backpack on, which is mainly a work item but does fulfill personal life duties as well, inside is a Leatherman, two Swiss army knives, and a large folding knife with 1.25 inch wide and 3.5 inch long blade on it. If I add in the knife that's always in my pocket, I am carrying 5 knives to work with me....

Makes me laugh a little. In my line of work, everyone caries a pocket knife or two, but 5 is probably 1-3 more than I need.

This is my "when I'm not going to or from work" EDC. I work in higher education, so firearms are a no-go (can be kept in car though).

Wilderness Tactical instructor belt - Keeps my pants up and allows me to use a belt holster
Glock 19 Gen4 FDE loaded with my 115gr XTP handloads - for the extremely low chance that I need a firearm to protect myself or others from a bad person
Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 2.0 - allows me to safely and discreetly carry my Glock 19 Gen4 FDE
Benchmade Adamas folder - a knife is a handy tool to carry, and I can't find my Griptilian
Wallet - need a way to carry ID, CCDW, cards, and money
Phone - it's good to be able to reach people, and be reachable. Also like games
Keys on a key ring - I like being able to lock and unlock my car, apartment, etc. A key ring is a convenient way to keep the keys together

Here's what I carry:

Belts -- Duluth Trading Lifetime Belt
holsters -- a tuckable IWB of my own design
knives -- Swiss Army knife, the biggest available.
lights -- a small LED on my keychain
mags/mag carriers -- two 8-round magazines in a generic multitool carrier.
phones -- $20 cellphone from WalMart
pens -- ball point pen in my checkbook, tucked the shaft of my right cowboy boot
keys -- car, house, Election Commission and church keys
fanny packs -- none
Source of fire -- butane lighter (I don't smoke, but it's handy to have)
lighting material, chapped lips, etc. -- carmex
Irish Penal rosary

"standard"- Glock gen 3 19C, trij sights, 1 extra mag, tagua thumb break
"summer" Glock 43, trij sights 1 extra mag, uncle mikes neoprene IWB
"on bike" Glock gen 2 23, trij sights, 1 extra mag, tagua thumb break
- Why the old 23 on a bike? Because I don't like it that much. If I get in a wreck, I won't damage my 19C. Getting into a wreck on a bike is more likely than a gunfight.
- cold steel gunsite tanto
- Iphone
- Surefire 6P if out at night or going to movies
-Oakley M frames
- casio Gshock

This is a great thread. Thanks to Cocked & Locked for the Matts Bullets link and to Vern for the heads up on the Duluth Trading Co. belt. I have been looking for a really heavy belt and that looks perfect.

I don't carry often but when I do it is either a Beretta 950BS or a S&W 431PD in 32 mag. Then just a wallet, keys, flip phone and hanky. I have had allergies all my life and a hanky goes everywhere with me.

Running around the house wearing my Crocs and tighty whities sees me with a hanky tucked in my waste band on one side and my flip phone clipped on the other side. For some reason no one ever wants to use my phone???:barf:

I'm a minimalist;
LCP(left front pocket)
Money&clip(right front)
Wallet(left rear)
extra mag, Mini Griptilian(watch pocket)
Keys clipped on belt loop
Wayfarers on head ;)

There is always the set of "wallet, and keys". I've carried a pocket knife from age ten...or 1960. The last ten years I've carried a S&W, .45 acp, DAO in an IWB that I made. I normally carry an extra mag. Some times I'll add a light. Don't we have to carry a phone as well?

Mark

My EDC.......

Currently, I carry:

S&W J frame 642 IWB on right side
Kershaw Volt knife clipped in right pocket
keys clipped on belt loop
iPhone 6s+ in left front pocket
wallet in rear right pocket

Joe

The gun carry is about to change however, I have purchased a Springfield XD Mod 2 9mm in FDE. Just as soon as I find a decent holster for it and shoot about 200 rounds through it successfully, it will be my new carry piece. At that time I will also carry it with the 13 round mag installed and a 16 round mag in my front left pocket until I get a mag carrier to carry it on my left side. The 642 will become an ankle gun.

Joe

My edc is usually:

-Taurus Pt111 G2, but today it's my Ruger sr40c.
-inexpensive Blackhawk #6 IWB holster, but today it's a trimmed BH #3
-usually a spare mag in pocket, but not lately. I'm liking not toting a spare loaded mag around.
-Kershaw/Emerson folding knife with 3" blade - made in China, but I love it.
-keys on two separate rings, and big van key by itself.
-wallet and Timex indiglo watch (which makes a good low level light at zero light levels)
-cell phone if I can fit it in

Belt us made from heavy Mexican leather made by a shop in a flea market.

Knife I carry is a simple Buck 110 in a cross draw sheath that was handmade from some place in Pennsylvania.

Guns : I typically carry a main gun in a shoulder holster like a model 28 or 29 Smith, I've also been known to conceal a super Blackhawk or vaquero.

I carry a Taurus 85 UL as my backup and as a primary for small things like going to the grocery store.

I wear Lee jeans, Chippewa work boots, an UnderArmour short- or long- sleeved shirt covered by a fleece vest or a zip-up hooded jacket most every night and weekend. I am 5'9", 185 lbs. with an "athletic" build. In the summer it's cargo shorts, an UnderArmour shirt and Keen sandals.

My EDC is two S&W 642 Airweights with Crimson trace grips in Robert Mika pocket holsters, loaded with Speer Gold Dot 135-gr. +P short-barrel ammo, 5 more rounds in a Bianchi Speed Strip, a Benchmade Nitrous Stryker tanto knife, an Apple iphone and my car keys. Sometimes a Fox Labs pepper spray also.

Edited to add: belts are Bison Design belts, some type of artificial fiber made for hiking or rock climbing.

Winter EDC:
Springfield Armory XD Mod.2 .45
Pearce +1 Grip Extension
Spare Magazine 10 Round.
NeoMag Mag Holster
Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.0
Crossbreed gun belt
iPhone 6 Plus
Wallet
Keys

With this setup I have 20+1 rounds. I carry at 4 o'clock IWB. I am usually wearing regular fit jeans and a jacket in the winter time. I tend to carry the biggest gun that clothing will allow. I find the Alien Gear 3 is more comfortable than a crossbreed supertuck. I have trijicon HD night sights with the yellow front. Trying to find a magazine holder for a doublestack .45 was hard to find something that was comfortable. This Neomag was a bit expensive but works great and is much better than the snagmag.

Summer EDC:
Sig Sauer P938
Spare Magazine 7 Round.
NeoMag Mag Holster.
Crossbreed gun belt
Crossbreed Micro Clip Horse Hide
iPhone 6 Plus
Wallet
Keys

With this setup I am able to wear form fitting t's with shorts for those warm summer days. I picked the crossbreed micro clip because the clip is on the backing of the holster instead of on top of the kydex - giving it a thinner profile, I also chose horse hide for sweat resistance. The firearm came stock with sig night sights. I carry IWB about 4 - sometimes, depending on where I am and really want to be sure I don't print I will appendix or small of back carry.

Formal Carry
Ruger LCP
Hunter Pocket Holster
iPhone 6 Plus
Wallet
Keys

When I am wearing slacks and formal attire, I go bare bones with a Ruger LCP and pocket carry in my right front pocket in a Hunter holster. I don't get my slacks oversized for IWB, no spare magazine.

This is all the crap I carry on a daily basis. A few changes, as this is from many years ago, such as the UCDP now resides in a Don Hume JIT slide, the Leatherman Micra is missing, the phone is now an LG, the glasses are now +2, rather than +1.25.

Ok.

Work:
Glock 22
S&W 642
2 mags
Cuffs
Streamlight Stinger led upgrade
Dozier Model 6
Spyderco Salt1
SAK Soldier or Tinker
Tourniquet
Wallet
Full uniform
(I've got extra stuff in my bag, being a Sergeant, I don't carry alot of extra stuff on me. Have to look fairly trim for meetings, PR events etc)
The bag, though, has everything. Trauma kit. Leatherman, compass, extra flashlight, gloves, ASP etc.

Off duty:
Sig P239 DAK in 357 SIG
2 extra mags
SAK Soldier or Tinker
Spyderco Salt or Spyderco Autonomy
Wallet/badge
Peak Eiger brass flashlight

Simplified Version

S&W Model 638 (BodyGuard) and 3" Schrade lock blade on a pocket clip.
Often with BUG KelTec P-32 and optional 10 rd. mag, and sometimes original 6 rd. mag, also. Mainly pocket carry.
Experimenting with different combinations of : Colt Police Positive 4", S&W Chief's Special 2" and 3" (all .38 Spl. with speed loaders); Belly Band P-64, CZ-82 shoulder rig (both 9 x 18 Mak. and spare mags).

Will probably carry my SCCY CPX-2 9mm in OWB slider when I get it broken in.
Some feed problems.

Wilderness instructor gun belt because it was only $40 and is a damn good belt. I could spend $80 on a nice leather gunbelt but this does the same thing.
Glock 17 gen 2 because it reliably makes holes in things that need extra holes. Loaded it with HSTs. Once in a while a cz P07 or S&W 910 DA auto fills this role.
A homemade hybrid iwb to carry the g17 because it makes the gun disappear and rides comfortably.
A spare mag, just in case.
A Ruger LCR in a blackhawk pocket holster with Remington 125gr .38s. Because an extra gun may come in handy, if the primary breaks, jams, or gets snatched.
Kershaw Blur knife because it's sharp and opens at the speed of awesome.
A flashlight to see things.
Wallet, keys, and phone.

My EDC is a Kahr CM45 with 185 gr +P Remington Golden Sabers(45 ACP) in the extended 6 round mag for a 6+1 capacity. I carry this under my shirt, in a Kangaroo Carry Standard 2. I also carry a Kahr 7 round mag with the same ammo, as a reload.

If Im going into the grocery store for a few things after work, I carry a Kahr CM9 in my pocket with the standard 6 round mag, for a 6+1 capacity, plus a Kahr extended 8 round mag. Ammo is either Remington Golden Saber 124 gr +P(9mm), or Speer Gold Dot 124 gr +P.

I could spend $80 on a nice leather gunbelt but this does the same thing.

I only spend about $60 on my gun belts, leather is sexy, and they look good with slacks.

I never could get into those instructor type bets, i'm just not a cargo pants kind of person where that would look ok.

I pack a 1992 or so Glock 23 in a Crossbreed Supertuck on a nylon belt generally used by smoke jumpers. I bough the belt for 10 bucks around 10 years ago and have worn it every day since and it still has many years left in it. I use the G23, mostly because I have yet to find anything that I feel could be better for the job. The only things in the running for replacement are the Gen4 Glock 19 or 23. Still, can't justify either of those as this gun soldiers on flawlessly, with just the RSA and sights being replaced over time. TruGlo TFO sights are on the gun at the moment.

I love the Supertuck and have had one of those over the past 7 years or so. I wear it because it makes the gun seemingly disappear while it is on my side because they are so comfortable. Even in the summer I wear this set-up with just shorts and a t-shirt as I go about my job. I am having some issues with the Kydex on these holsters though.

Next on my EDC and a relatively new addition, is a spare Glock 22 mag for the G23. I began carrying this after Paris and San Bernardino killings. It is being carried in a Glock magazine holster that cost maybe $5 and works perfectly. Gun is carried at about 4:30 or so and the mag is carried at about 7:30 for easy access by the left hand. Both the mag in the gun and the spare are downloaded one round. Probably for no apparent reason.

Last of the EDC items is a Buck 110 folder. It is mostly carried as a blackberry bush defense tool at work but I have on other occasions justified it's place in my pocket by thinking I could use it as a last ditch weapon.

My EDC bag says "Sampsonite" so I won't try to list everything.

2 phones - LG G2 and Nexus 5X
2 guns - currently an LCP and a Taurus in .327 - always one snubbie at least and one is a pocket carry.
At least 2 flashlights - 1 300 lumen Cree and a 80 lumen T10 ThruNite
At least 2 knives - I Victorinox Deluxe Tinker and a SwissTool - plus a small Leatherman and a Japanese "Sharp" that's stainless of some sort but keeps an edge

..and 10 lbs of other stuff. Yea, I gota thing about backups.

Partly depends on what I'm wearing. If it's a suit day because of court or depositions EDC is as follows:
-1.25" DeSantis belt
-Walther PPS M2 9mm in a DeSantis Soft Tuck (left in office safe if going to court or -State office building for depositions)
-Spare 7 round magazine in front weak side pants pocket (as above)
-Benchmade Osbourne 943 straight edge knife (left in car if going to courthouse or state building)
-iPhone 6
-Car Keys
-Wallet
-Business Card wallet with professional credentials
-Mont Blanc Meisterstuck Classique Fountain Pen
-Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean

Typical office attire (khakis and button down shirt with a sport coat)
-Wilson Combat 1.5" shark skin belt
-Wilson Combat CQB Compact .45 ACP in a Galco King Tuck
-2 spare 7 round magazines in a Wilson Combat double mag pouch worn weak side
-Benchmade Osbourne 943 straight edge
-Car keys
-iPhone 6
-Wallet
-Business card wallet with professional credentials
-Mont Blanc Meisterstuck Classique fountain pen
-Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean

Casual when off work (i.e. jeans and an untucked polo shirt)
-1.5" Wilson Combat shark skin belt
-Wilson Combat CQB Compact in a Galco King Tuck
-2 spare 7 round magazines weak side in a Wilson Combat double mag pouch
-Benchmade Osbourne 943 straight edge
-iPhone 6
-Car keys
-Wallet
-Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean

Alternative when casual is as above, except swap the Wilson CQB for a Walther P99 in a Foxx Hybrid holster and a spare 15 round mag carried in the weak side front pants pocket. For very warm weather when shorts are the go to, I'll revert to the PPS in the Soft Tuck for the simple fact it's lighter weight conceals better under a t-shirt.
