Well what did y'all get for gifts this year?

Lets see, my car got everything brakes related replaced (front and back), which keeps my guns and myself safe when going to the range. I also got my first real tools. Drill/impact driver set, some wrenches, allen wrenches, and screw drivers. Maybe I can use my drill to speed up case trimming. I did give my fiance some gun type stuff. Once she finally decides to send in her CCW app and get her card, I'm going to pay for her to rent and shoot lots of guns so she can figure out what she likes, and also pay for her to take a womens firearms class at Buds. Also got her some sort of face scrubber thing, not sure what it's for, but she liked it lol

Some AR parts, a new holster, a Caldwell chronograph, a meat grinder, a shooting mat, some gunsmithing tools, a Cabela's gift card, a new Hornady scale, and non-firearm related stuff like clothes. I didn't expect to receive half of what I did.

Ruger American Rifle in 300 BLK, Heritage Roughrider with 22lr and 22Mag cylinders, Drop leg SA holster and a cartridge 22lr gunbelt for Cowboy action. PSA AR15 16 inch keymod upper with lower included and front and rear MBUS sights and for EDC, got a Springfield Armory XD Mod2 45.. Got the wife a new gas dryer and a wheelbarrow to go with the hoe and rake for her gardening..................................hehehe

From other people, I got a couple of restaurant gift cards. One was for Olive Garden. For someone who despises cheese and tomatoes of any kind, an odd gift. The other one was for a place out of my way, so both were regifted. I came into a little more money than I expected to have before the end of the year, so I bought myself two toys. One was a police trade-in Sig P220, and the other was a new SAR K2P 9mm. The Sig is at the FFL's, and the SAR is on the way. I wasn't looking for a .45, but when I saw a bunch of trade in P220's, I remembered I have two 10 round mags in my drawer from the first P220 I had, a really nice stainless Elite, with custom zebrawood grips that the previous owner put on. Those grips were as well done as any commercial ones I've ever seen. I was offered $200 more than I paid for it before I took it out the door at the FFL's. I took it, but I kept the two mags, for "some day", and I guess that day is now.

Ok folks being the holidays what kind of gifts did you get this year?

As is relevant to this forum, I got a 9mm collet for my bullet puller.

It came just in time, too. I loaded 50 9mm cartridges with 147grain bullets that was way too hot so I was not looking forward to pulling the remaining 48 bullets with a kinetic puller.

Nothing gun related at all. I did get a new camera that's so complicated that I may have to take some college courses to be able to use it. If I ever get it figured out I can take some pictures of the guns I already own.

I started early Christmas shopping for myself in preparation for the coming winter and bought a new pair of Street & Steel motorcycle chaps, because the Buffalo leather chaps I had were wore out. Then I bought a Scorpion M700 crack head full face helmet to replace my old scorpion helmet.

With my cold weather riding gear squared away that left me free to focus on other things. I picked up several Firearms related items including 750 rounds of ammo, 2 new to me ammo cans and this sexy CZ 75B-Omega.

Ha ha, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I didn't necessarily get it as a Christmas related item but just a couple months ago in mid-october my Nikon Coolpix l105 developed Lens issues and quit working . This wasn't good because I follow the car and motorcycle shows here locally and take a lot of pictures throughout the season. So, I found a really good deal on a nice Nikon l810 on Craigslist for $80, so I scooped it up while I could. in some ways I like the l105 better but I'll eventually get this thing figured out even if I have to call NASA to do so.

Ice fishing equipment, new tires for the Ford Expedition , New timing belt kit and spark plugs installed for the Acura., a Coach bag for the wife .
Nothing gun related.

Got an Academy Sports gift card. Been there twice in the last couple of days................ Can`t really find anything I want/need .

That`s why cash is better. Your not locked in any certain place/store.

I`ll find something sooner or later.

A Benchmade 710 folder from the wife.

I'd mentioned to her a while back that I'd like to get a more rough use knife to take over as my EDC before my Benchmade Gold Series Damascus folder got too scratched up.

She did good!

My partner and I treated ourselves each to a new Glock 43.

The far greater gift is that we're doing better than we deserve, content to be safe and warm with family. I wish the same happiness to all.

I bought an old beater .22 rifle for pest control.
Sold a handgun I wasn't using.
Don't need much............just need to use what I have...........more.

Around my house Christmas is all about the kids and grandkids. My Wife gave me a label maker to use for marking boxes of reloaded ammo and cast bullets. My Mother got me the newest Lyman reloading book. Me and the Wife are both old enough that we buy what we want when we see it, or buy it for each other. Holidays are not required. Thats just us, but its not a bad system, all in all. Now the grandkids, they made out like bandits!

As to guns this was the year for giving. Helped my daughter get her husband a nice revolver, a S&W Model 15-3 a nice circa 1970 revolver. The son-in-law was totally surprised and loved it.

As for me? Guns aside I also love riding and a really sweet 1992 Harley Electro Glide with original 5,400 miles came along at a great price with the full touring package and reverse. My wife told me go ahead and grab it. I have the trunk which was not in this picture. The bike was exceptionally clean and I got a few pictures before it went into storage.

I'll make some changes in the sspring but overall a great Christmas. :)

I got an ice tea maker and some socks.

It's the season for giving.

I got a few bottles of good bourbon, some warm gloves, a nice sweat shirt, and a few other things. I don't expect any gun related stuff, I buy guns and gear for myself all the time. In the last few months I've bought myself guns, ammo, glass, and had some leather made. I don't need anyone else buying me gun stuff.

More importantly I gave guns and gear this year - my wife got a S&W 351C, gave my dad a new Colt Gov't Model Series 70 repro and leather for it, and my son a custom Colt Commander I had built for him.
