20170414_160240.jpg I took the gun out again today it did fine but when I was cleaning it I noticed a little scratch on the trigger bar assembly. I have attached pictures as best as I can hoping it's nothing to worry about. Overall a kind of fits the overall fit and finish of the gun where it has a couple tool Marks here and there which is what I'm hoping that it is. It does not feel rough or jagged.

I can honestly say that I do not see any issues in your pictures.
Could you point to the area in concern ?
Oh, the trigger bar.
Keep an eye on it.
Could be a tooling scratch during manufacturing and you never noticed it before or have you ?

Right in front of the spring. The flat metal surface

I wouldn't worry about it. If you want, you could always contact and send a pic to Ruger. Ask if they can send a replacement part.

Smith not a Ruger haha I can call them on Monday but I wanted to at least have my concerns set aside.

In the first picture it looks like a scratch. In the other two it looks like a crack to me. I didn't find any replacement parts on Numrich or in the first page of Google for SW22s. So hopefully it is a scratch and just unclear photos.

A new S&W has a life time warranty. I would not worry about it.

I think its just a surface flaw.

Funny story about that when I was looking to buy this gun. I called Smith and Wesson and ask them what their warranty was, they told me it was the best. I laughed and said do you want to elaborate a little bit? The guy said for the rest of your life they will pay for you to ship it back to them if you ever have any problems with it. I said dang that is the best warranty I've ever heard!

On my computer it looks like a crack. But I can't see out of one eye, and I'm blind in the other. If it breaks, send it to S&W. They'll repair it free of charge.

I'm old.

Read the thread title, looked at the picture and thought "there is nothing in a K frame that looks even a little bit like that..."

It looks like a poorly cast part to me. Keep an eye on it, and notify S&W if it breaks.

Looks like a scratch. But if it breaks there 1,000 rounds from now I'll be willing to change my opinion. I'm that generous and big hearted a fella, all the folks that owe me money say so.

I wouldn't worry about it. Keep shooting. Keep an eye on it. You now have a record that you saw it. If it cracks in the future you can point to the pics and this thread when you talk to S&W. If it breaks it won't hurt much.
