Not on the list, but I purchased an S&W MP2.0 5” FDE last year (priced similarly to the CZ P10c) based on looks alone (never thought I would do that for a pistol…shotgun yes, but not a pistol). Anyway, I find myself shooting it WAY more than I originally thought I would…I’m a decent shot, but this thing makes me look like Rob Leatham…it’s like I can’t miss with it.

I am really liking the M&P M2.0 Compact 4" .40 S&W (No Safety) that I got from Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore. They seem to alternate between the Safety and No Safety and 3.6" and 4" model at $299.99.

For $300 you could do a lot worse if you aren't afraid of .40. 9mm OEM 4.25" Barrels (Which work on the 4") are available for $80.

I dont know that any of them are that great of a buy. Guns are tools that need to be fitted both to the task and the user. It does not much matter how much it costs if it does not meet those two criteria.

Did you get the barrel from S&W?

Midway USA
Product #150824
$79.99
Currently Backordered but Overdue.

It's not technically for the M2.0 4" but it works perfectly just protrudes slightly at the front of the slide.

I ordered one of the replacement .40 S&W barrels for my M&P40c from Midway since the stock one was so inaccurate. It arrived with rust on the feed ramp, and still sealed in the factory S&W plastic bag.

That and S&W's inability to provide a PC shield barrel without obvious flaws has degraded my faith in them as a company. I also ordered some bullets, cases, and ammo from Midway last month and it was left on my doorstep in the rain.

Compare those prices to the best price you can find on a Sccy and tell me which one is the best deal. I still think that the $350 palmetto freedom AR is a screaming deal and if I had some money to do it I would buy 3 and put them away for the kids.

The Buy 1 Get 1 Free - Ruger AR 556 $699.99 Deal at the local LGS during December wasn't bad either. For $1400 you would have gotten 1 for you and 1 for each of the kids.

Ruger SR9c tops that list easy in my eyes.

Another extremely good value right now is the Beretta APX, criminally cheap for the quality right now.

I went with the P10C IF it is the newer generation. A close second is the PPS if it is the M2. I own a M2 PPS as a backup gun and it almost shoots like a full size gun.

Hi-Point 9mm my brother bought one for his birthday, $100.00 and off to the range with a box of 50 reloads. He claimed all shots landed on the black but failed to say how far away and the diameter of the black spot.
