I am really liking this. Can I mount a bayonet on it ?
IIRC, the 590A1 mounts bayonets M7 and later, same as the M-16/M-4. Others know more about that than I do.

I have been waiting for a LgS to have one before i order one online. Been drooling over the pics of them.
Mine was nearly a blind buy. I got a banner ad about them and clicked on it. Fell in love and clicked the "local dealer" icon. Turned out my LGS of choice had one in stock. bought it the next day
I have been tempted to do that. But the last few guns i bought without handling, i ended up hating them. one was a ruger P95, a small LGS said they were small enough to conceal. and that he concealed it when he left the house. When i picked up it. I was regretting it the second i opened the box. The Glock 36 was bought sight unseen. Hated that pistol also. I learned to handle them before i buy.
Mine has often been a "woods" gun for me. If the Mexican Greys are ghosting one of our dogs who might be in-heat or when the bear moves to one of the wallows above the cabin, it's the 590 goes along.Count me in with the "I like what I see" camp.
Don't need one, but if I saw it out in the wild I definitely would be tempted.
Only real knock I can think of is that it looks heavy - but that isn't a deal breaker for me.
This does not strike me as a shotgun you walk all over the woods with...

Have you guys seen the regular Mossberg 500 Retrograde? Does it seem any good?
It's just you.
