No, I don't. I'm not inclined to prepay for stuff in the first place and certainly not to an internet vendor who was heretofore unknown to most on the forum. But I am interested in a possible future supplier and I believe it's okay to ask questions about it. If that's okay with you.
I feel you! ... I presume you’re not a gambling man.

I am waiting for them to offer LRP then I will be in for some. Hopefully there will be no further import restrictions. That would cause problems.
I avoid “the news,” so I’m not aware of the latest EO’s but a quick search of Dogpile doesn’t indicate any new restrictions. Not yet anyway. I could be wrong. Like I said I’m deliberately not following the propaganda.

No, I do gamble. But, only with people I know or those that I have reason to trust. ;)

If NFT comes through on this in a timely manner, I may be tempted to "roll the dice" with them next time. We'll see.

I do, but I’m inclined not to fuss. If my money goes down the drain, well, I won’t be so trusting in the future.

That being said, I so far see zero cause for concern. The original estimated ship date was just that -an estimate, a projection, made in January, from the sound of it.

Shipping explosives across international borders is not simple or straightforward. And probably not cheap either. If it were easy and clear-cut there would be two dozen companies doing it. It’s not like ordering a window decoration from Amazon, where some software gives you live updates every six hours from the warehouse to your door within 48 hours.

If I haven’t heard anything concrete by April 30 I’ll start to feel a little anxious, but for now I see nothing out of the ordinary at all.

I pre-ordered 2K. I'm not worried about this guy being a scammer; I believe his intentions are legit. My concern is all the hurdles and red tape of getting the primers across the border.

I'm with you...I'm in for $315.00....If I felt that amount would break me, I probably shouldn't be doing a lot of certain things.....!!!
I'm amazed at the number of folks that have their panties in a bunch over this.......

Lets not get to arguing or the thread will get closed again thank you. We are in uncharted waters so to speek with regards to reloading supplies on the whole and any one that can help should be welcome. YMMV
Agreed, and some posts went away.

It's a free country if folks want to take a chance, they are all grown folks.

How many folks posting about this here have money invested ?
I do. In for 7K primers. If I get burned, it won’t be the first time.

I’m not worried at this point. We were told this was a new thing for the seller and there would be unforeseen issues.

I think we’ll see this to a good finish.

I’ll say this, all you guys who think we’ll be back to 2019 status quo are probably in for a bigger surprise than me. I think the powers that are in control will do all they can to stop that from happening without a long drawn out fight.

Tom Grishum, who is the host and owner of Gun Talks Media, mentioned insider information of 3 new primer factories being built. He talked about it in his radio show last weekend. Chin up everyone! Primers will be below 2019 before we know it

I hope you are correct, but I wonder how many will reject them as "untested/untried"?

Also, what about all the new ammo start ups hunting for primers? They will certainly be buying with fervor.

Regardless, I will be glad when I can buy in bulk for a reasonable price. Until then, I'm happy with the $0.06 cent primers I bought.

the new primer factories are being built by Vista, Sig, and others reputable companies, ISO-2000-whatever standards. I would trust them! MERICA!!!

as for the Bosnian primers, if they suck, I’ll use them for training ammo. $0.06 at 1,000 = 1 hour at the bar

While not quite about primers the following is food for thought. Just over a year ago the cost of shipping a CONEX container across the Atlantic was about $5,000 USD. Your container went to a shipyard where it took its place inline. Things went really pretty well in that you could call a date +/- a day or two. Ship may hit foul weather or go around foul weather. Today the cost on that same container is $12,000 USD and reliability is gone. Your container sits waiting for a ship and ship schedules are no longer guaranteed. Your container could run a week a month or even longer behind.

They say America's needs move by truck. Has anyone noticed the increasing cost of fuel that make the trucks move along? Expect inflation and delay. Those are a few things we can actually count on. Toss in any government bureaucracy which is currently slower than slow at the city, state and federal levels for things like paper work for permits and you can see where this is going. Just look at the train wreck of the US Postal System. I ordered something from NY and it arrived here in Cleveland about 10 miles from me. Then for reasons nobody could explain it left Cleveland, Ohio for Austin, Texas. The shipper made good and shipped another and a month later the first package got to me. Diesel fuel in CA is now over $4.00 a gallon.

Domestic primers should be available soon, I just can't define soon but soon. :)
