Several in this thread have mentioned an email that they received from the seller.

Did everybody who purchased also get this email?

I paid for 2K primers, but haven’t received the e-mail people are referring to. I did get an email the last time the seller sent a mass correspondence.

Fingers crossed, and still gazing at that half-full glass...
I ordered 2K and got both email updates.

me too but was in the junk box
 
Scott511, you don't see on the home page "now taking preorders"
next line "Genex small rifle"
next line "Genex small pistol"
 
Okay, maybe my bad. I didn't go to the order page because I don't need to order any. But, previously when they were sold out they said the preorder was suspended and it never mentioned small rifle so something is going on.
 
That notice on the home page has been there from the start.
The only place I've seen where the pre orders is stopped is when you click there and it takes you to the spp page
 
Interesting thread to follow and why I wouldn’t think about initiating an endeavor to satisfy the impatient with something that from the outset requires patients because of the unknown.

Seems like you get orders from all of the hope, get hate from the pessimistic and no love at the end

Good points but how long would you wait for service at a new restaurant before you left? And would you pay in advance? Customers are entitled to rate and review that’s what makes Yelp, TripAdvisor, etc, etc.

But back to the topic...To the extent websites are reliable indicators, Northfork is one of three new outfits trying this. Or is it two? And we know others sold this brand primer in the past, so the speculation is rational and logical.

I placed my order on 3/3 and credit card companies by law have to allow 60 days to dispute charges I believe. So worst case scenario if we get to the beginning of May and things are looking sketchy we could file a dispute and recover our money.

With that being the case I can't see any reason for anyone to be in panic mode right now.

I still have faith that this ends well for those of us who took a chance. To me everything points to this company making a sincere effort to fill a need. We need to cut them some slack.

Hello Primer Presalers,
Good morning everyone. I know you all have been wanting updates on the primers. I’ve received various emails from many of you asking how everything is going, and I apologize for not responding promptly. As of the past week I have been far more involved in daily and sometimes hourly events that require my attention regarding this and I haven’t wanted to give any kind of update that doesn’t say much. I haven’t read the thread on High Road so and I won’t be answering specific questions posted there. The primers are in Canada, ship is in. We are still working out various legal, organizational and tax hurdles that I won’t get into specific detail about, before we bring everything across. Believe me, I understand your anxieties around this. However nervous and anxious you are, I am 200x that (that’s how many orders were placed for these before we shut it off). I have a responsibility to all of you to make this happen and I am determined to do so. There are angles to this that I didn’t foresee that have to be dealt with not only to bring them across the border, but for me to squeeze a meager profit out of it as well. Please continue to hold tight and trust that I am working on this daily. I will give updates when we hit milestones, and I am hopeful the next one I give will be in the form of a tracking number. Thanks for the continued support and patience. We will get there soon.

On Monday I bought tires for my vehicle. I made the dealer show me the codes which proved the tires were in fact new and not just never used. Big difference as you know.

I cut slack to family, some friends, some fellow church members, but not internet strangers.

Old news. That’s the same thing NFT posted on the 22nd and others posted having received the same info in an email. Any updates?
 
It seems NFT has been upfront about potential delays from the start and gives updates when there's progress or setbacks. It's my impression from following this NFT has more to loose than anyone here and will do what it takes to make it happen or refund buyers.
