U.S. Gov't Aiding Mexico Against Minutemen?/ It's an Outrage Merged

Well CD, what possible reason could the BP have for doing this? MS-13 has vowed to hit the Minutemen so it couldn't be for the Minutemen's safety.
I assumed that the BP wanted to catch illegals and the Minutemen aid in this effort so that doesn't add up either.
Ideas?

No idea whatsoever... it makes no sense!

But get a load of what the Border Patrol spokesman said:

"....describing it as a standard procedure meant to reassure the Mexican government that migrants' rights are being observed."

WHAT

ABOUT

MY

RIGHTS

??????

Honestly, they probably are pretty good guys. The image they give off is just not good IMO. Remember Bush calling them vigilantes? That's how they look to me. That may not be the truth, but that's the perception many people have.

A small case of "projection:" the chief "vigilante" in America today is GEORGE W. BUSH. He has become the head lawbreaker in an increasingly lawless Government.

A third political party that embodies America's legacy principles is imperative. Whether it will do anything but hand the next Election--if there is one--to Hillary remains to be seen. I think the third party is definitely worth trying but I have to admit I think we are past that point. Ten years ago the right leaders in the right party might have stopped the juggernaut. Today I doubt it. I realize it's "radical" to recognize that sometimes you have to fall back and recoup--while you still have time.

It Adds up Fairly Clearly in my Book

1. The Minutemen are trying to curb/prevent illegal invasion.
2. The Border Patrol is tasked with the same function.

So, it would appear that they are on the same side. But wait!

3. Bush and Big Business want amnesty, possibly more, for the invaders.
4. The Border Patrol falls under Homeland Security, which answers to Bush.

Why would they be ordered to undermine the efforts to stop the illegal invasion of our southern border? Because someone in power wants the invasion to continue, perhaps...and just perhaps that person has made an informal agreement with Vicente Fox to allow the condition to perpetuate regardless of American sentiment.

I caught a segment of CNN about this last night. In the spot, CNN stated that one location where boarder watchers were set up was known only to the Boarder Patrol, and that location was identified on a web site run by the Mexican government. :fire: :fire: :fire:

Please, somebody remind me why we have a Federal Government? It does not appear that its doing the job tasked to it.... :banghead:

Undermining ourselves from the inside.

I dont know why, but for some reason my mind wants to relate this to the fall of South Vietnam due mainly to extreme corruption by higher ups. Anyone else get the same feeling?

Actually this makes some sense.

Think about it. The Border Patrol knows the Minutemen have guns. The Border Patrol know the Minutemen probably have some crazy types in their group.. the kind of people who on this board who are always talking about shooting down people at the border..

By reporting their location the the Mexican gov't, the Mexicans can stop people from trying to cross in certain locations where the minutemen would be patrolling. This lessens the chance of contact between Minutemen and illegals.. thereby lessening the chance of violence.

Simply a safety precaution.

You're right, comrade. Ooooo, scary guns--people carrying nasty old guns must include "crazy types." We must, at all costs, protect the invaders from justice! It will make Vicente happy, and keep our social projekt on track, eh?

After seething overnight, I posted the following to my elected federales and Bill Frist:
Senator / Representative Whomever

RE: US Government Informs Mexico of Minuteman’s Border Activities

Dear Senator / Representative Whomever;

Reports over the last two days indicate the US federal government is keeping the Mexican government informed of Minuteman’s border locations and activities. The ostensible reason is to prevent unwanted accidents from happening. The chief effect is to render the Minuteman’s activities ineffective.

Outrageous! The President of the United States is going out of his way to do nothing to stop the flow of illegal border crosses into the US. Ordinary, private citizens stand up and do what the federales say can’t be done and they succeed. Our own government then collaborates with a hostile foreign government to hinder the activities of a group trying to do something. Insane!

This is an insult to the efforts of hardworking Americans to do what the President evidently does not want done. George Bush’s administration is flipping the bird in the face of Americans who are sick and tired of bearing the cost of a slow-motion invasion.

Senator / Representative Whomever, I hope you understand the American public is rapidly approaching a breaking point on the outrageous activities of our federal government. I would suggest you get in conference with the President and Senate / House leadership to impress on both that we out here in the land of taxpayers will take only so much. I am sick and tired of treasonous actions (a carefully chosen term) by the President and congress. Congress must pay attention to America and Americans first. The invasion must stop.

An ill wind is blowing out here. Congress and the President are well advised to pay attention.

Best wishes,

Waitone

Nobody, including our government's "bureaucratic middle managers" want to be shown up by a bunch of "rag-tag peons" like the minute-men.

They clearly are being shown up, though. Too much more effectiveness on
the part of these commendable citizens, and the laziness, dolt-politic, and corruption won't help but show itself in the light.

It amounts to Treason, and the entire House and Senate are derelict by failing to make certain the individuals responsible were fired that very day, and held to answer these actions at a trial.

When the Border Patrol knows full well, that Texas Sheriffs officers are being fired on at the river, on numerous occasions, and the Mexican Military comes across in Humvees to assist in drug transfers, no reasonable individual can call this action by the Border Patrol anything less than treason.

I just don't know why our so called government representatives in the House and Senate, are not lined up right now, outside the White House demanding answers immediately.

Our system of Government, has been overthrown, by our Government.

What I possible see happening is the minutemen taking it up quite a few notches. As in pushing the limits. But I can surely say im disgusted by the goverment when it comes to illegal immigration.

I see the Mexican government has hired a lawyer to get Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio to stop arresting illegal aliens and having them deported.

I am absolutely astounded that very few politicians see nothing wrong with the Mexican governments stance on illegal immigration.

The only thing I can surmise is that they are afraid that if our borders were airtight, chaos would reign in Mexico, and a Socialist government such as Venezuela's or Bolivia's would come to power. How that would be worse than what we have now, I don't know.

I DO know that the candidate for the governor of Nebraska won his close race by his tough stance of illegal immigration, as did the candidate for the U.S. House of Reps. I guess we will have to do some work at the polls.

Politicians will always do the right thing, when left with no other choice.:)

Andrew:

There is absolutely nothign wrong with making certain people do not trespass on your property. And if you have a big place, nothing wrong with asking people to help you do so.

Everyone seems to be forgetting, people are crossing peoples land without permission, helping themselves to food, clothing, and whatever else they care to take after breaking into houses that are unoccupied, and they get a little fed up with it. However, keep in mind, the Minutemen are armed with CELL PHONES. That is it. The Mexican Government is armed with guns, and shoot across the border at Sheriffs trying to halt drug smuggling.

The only ones pushing the limit, is the INS by committing an act of treason by calling the Mexican Government/Drug Smugglers to let them know exactly where the land owners and their help are located.

If you read Article IV, section IV, and Article I, Section VII, clauses four, fifteen, and sixteen, of the Constituion, I cannot imagine how it could be reasonable that the Minutemen are doing anything wrong, but I can imagine after reading it, that Congress and the President are derelict in their duty, when Congressional Aides themselves term this an "invasion".

I agree with IRA its nothing short of treason. When you advise to other side to aid illegal actions it just stupid. I am planning on joining the Minutemen I am sick and tired of the other side dictating the rules.

I don't get this either. Usually I can ponder some foolish reason for another person's actions. However, this one can only be that they are beuacratic maggots or maybe they don't like the Minutemen making them look like what they really are.

I don't get it.

Ohen:
What I don't get, is our so called reps not giving a tinker's damn.

I called my Senator's offices and they couldn't care less. "One aide told me to "put it in writing" if I want some type of response about this issue.

I explained them that I am a Delegate to the State Convention of my party, and I definitely will put it in writing at the convention, and will definitely do my best to explain my stance to the Senator personally during the convention, and ask why this Senator tends to hire aides who couldn't care less about the United States of America. And, that his attitude, is exactly why I am going to cast my vote in the general election, for a Liberatarian candidate to be named later.

I've said all along Illegal immigration is emblematic of a host of other issues. As time goes on we'll see other flaps arise because of the public debate over illegal aliens.

One issue that is clear as a bell to me is the 17th Amendment has got to go. If we had state selection of senators this entire debate would not be heard.

"Hey, Hey, Ho, Ho! The 17th Amendment has got to go!"

he claims the gov't informed the Mexicans of the Minutemen location to protect the Minutemen from possible violence from Mexican drug smugglers and other shady characters.

The only thing more absurd than our gov preventing the “lawlessness” of people trying to enforce the law, is our gov relying on the Mexican gov to protect US citizens.:banghead:

To those who think we need to vote R to revolutionize the party, has it ever occurred to you that if you keep voting for them (or the Ds) you will keep getting more of the same?:scrutiny:

Here are some possibility's of what may be up.

1. BP is doing this in effort to stop the Minutemen from continually making the BP look like the waste of taxpayer money they are.

2. Similar to the above but BP is doing this to Purposely put Minutemen in Danger from violent groups with a grudge such as MS13 to get them off the scene.

3. In line with above, BP is trying to Provoke a Violent confrontation that some Corrupt maggot in the government for an excuse to do one thing or another to shaft the US citizens or push some political agenda that would never otherwise pass.

Possibly even a combination of 2 or all 3

All are incredibly childish & undoubtedly Treason, not to mention another sign that our Government is Out of Control.

Bowfin,

IIRC, the openly- communist mayor of Mexico City (Obrador) is an even-money bet for the next election for "El Presidente". We can all look forward to years of fun and frolic as he joins with Castro and Chavez to make our lives very interesting. I don't think what we do on the border makes a bit of difference in keeping the communists out of power in Mexico at this point.

All of this is just one more reason to make it a national priority to shore-up the border by all means necessary, IMHO.

I never thought I'd say it but I am extremely disappointed in the Bush administration. Post 9-11 we were all asked to be on the lookout for possible threats to our security. This is exactly what the Minutemen are doing, and the very same administration is counter-acting them. My only consolation is that it MAY have been worse with Kerry.

Acorn:

I was exactly like you initially. In fact, like an idiot, I was a contributor.

The prospect of Al Gore, or John (Surrender at any Cost!) Kerry being President, was sickening.

But truly, there is no difference. We will wind up with Ma and Pa Clinton in two years in the White House, and Chuckie Schumer and Teddy Kennedy leading the Senate to sign a "Small Arms Treaty" with the United Nations.

And Bush is helping it happen. It was a plot from the beginning.

Great Representative Republic, while it lasted.
