Mexico threatens MinuteMan Project....

Illegals do not come here to embrace our country and become part of it, but to exploit it. They refuse to learn the language and create little Mexico's in the US. We spend a large fortune to support these people. They use more in public funds than they contibute.

Thanks to people like President Bush, we may be the last generation of Americans who can manage to live a high quality life in the USA without having to learn a 2nd language. That truly angers me.

So what we basically have is an invasion by a foreign force that is aided by their government.

They're likely not armed, but they are plundering our country's assets.

What does it take to be considered an invading army? When do we start holding the Mexican Government accountable for aiding these criminals?

Not in the forseeable future. Too many powerful interests are served by illegal immigration. After all, they just come here to work (which is why 30% of our prison population are illegal immigrants). Besides, we must have compassion. Didn't you get the memo?

"Hunters of Mexican Citizens" :scrutiny:

I don't think they care much about being Mexican citizens anymore. I'm kinda curious as to where the fedgov comes into this. If a state gov wanted to, could they operate their own "border patrol" and set up a type of physical barrier?

I believe the US government is REALLY bass-ackwards on this policy. After all, entering Area 51 can get you shot. The signs are clearly posted and I have seen them. Mind you, this is a base owned by the people and they are prevented from going on. So be it.

Why can't we post signs of the same nature to keep non-citizens (of the illegal variety) out? I wonder if a savvy lawyer could pull such a thing off in court? Sec 21 Internal Security Act of 1950; 50 U.S.C. 797. (is the applicable laws posted on these signs)

I'm sorry, but its not Mexico's job to keep illegals out of the United States!

It's the US Government's job to keep them out and they are doing a very poor job of it. It is totally intentional because we could secure our borders if we really wanted to. It would cost alot but what doesn't these days? It would be cheaper than a war, and probably grant us more security in the long run.

I agree, but when they start to threaten US citizens acting on US soil, AND support illegal immigration it becomes a big problem. The issue isn't that the Mexican government should do something to specifically prevent illegal immigration into this country, it's that they encourage it.

Just imagine the controversy if one of the boarder states grew a pair, created a dmz zone w/ razor wire & land mines. On top of that... the state governer issued a statement that said states citizens will not be charged (pardoned if need be) for 'protecting' their property with force.

I think that would give alot of people {liberals} heart attacks. But would probably also make quite a statement that would make illegals secon guess which boarder they cross.

I know its not PC... but would you say?

U.S. sticks Arizona for big illegal bill
Failure to deport costs state $28,000 per day

A failure by the federal government to file proper paperwork to deport illegals to Mexico is costing the state of Arizona $28,000 a day, say state prison officials.

Arizona Department of Corrections Director Dora Schriro said deporting the criminals should be a "no-brainer" given the money that could be saved and the beds that could be freed in the state's overcrowded prison system.

Yet, formal deportation orders for 46 of the 526 eligible inmates have been on file for several months, but state prison officials can't get Immigration and Customs Enforcement to pick them up, Schriro told the Tuscon Citizen.

The drain on the state's prison system prompted Gov. Janet Napolitano to send an invoice to U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, requesting compensation for more than $118 million over the past 18 months. Napolitano demanded that the federal government pay up or take custody of the thousands of criminal illegal immigrants housed in Arizona prisons.

Each inmate costs the state $53.44 per day to house. The state recoups $17.12 of that through the federal government's State Criminal Alien Assistance Program.

By the end of the year, the state expects to have 590 additional inmates who could be deported to Mexico.

Under a 1996 state law, illegal immigrants convicted of certain felonies are eligible for deportation to Mexico after they complete 50 percent of their sentences, she said. The law applies to Class 3 through 6 felonies, involving "nondangerous, nonrepetitive" offenses, excluding sex crimes.

Some critics of the border policy said Arizonans already pay a hefty price for illegal immigration in terms of education, medical costs and government programs. Arizona's 350-mile stretch of border is the busiest in terms of arrests of illegal immigrants. The problem has spilled out from federal immigration detention centers down to state prisons and local jails.

Last year, Napolitano said, the state housed an average daily population of 3,642 criminal immigrants at an estimated cost of more than $71 million but received about $9 million in federal reimbursement.

IIRC AZ recently passed a referendum initiative, Prop 200, that curtailed public benefits to illegal aliens and tightened requirements for voting.

The Gov't of Mexico plans to sue in international court over this "illegal policy".

The Rupublican Congressional Money Raising Committee (whatever their exact name is) just called asking for more money. I donated something last year. Today I told them to tell their congresscritters and president that I want illegal immigration stopped and when they do that, I'll consider further donations. I've also written letters to my elected reps saying that it's my number 1 issue.

No country in the history of the world would have put up with this nonsense, and we've GOT to put a stop to it. Yes, the legal process needs improvement but we cannot continue to be the doormat for the hemisphere.

Why has it been allowed to happen? Because it benefits the huge business concerns that donate countless millions to the campaigns of "our elected representatives".

I recently read an estimate that illegal aliens have caused 6,000,000 American workers to lose their jobs.

Between outsourcing, job exporting, down-sizing, and cheap illegal aliens, job security in America is fading away.

I read an article not too long ago in the Washington Times that many illegal aliens already have jobs waiting for them in the US. Examples are shellfish and poulty processing plants in the Carolinas. The plants deal with contractors who provide the illegal laborers.

Pres. Bush whines about helping out "hardworking moms and dads" when referring to his "guest worker" program for non-Americans. I think Bush better start wanting to help out hardworking Amercian moms and dads first. That is a big enough job for any President.

There's no reason that the National Guard shouldn't be posted on the borders. That would solve the problem PDQ.

I've been saying for years that the border needs to be rigged up with automatic weaponry on tripods with motion sensors...

But lately I've changed that to dropped the wall/fence and installing a 'burning river of gas' that I can turn on and off at my will. Of course this will only happen when I'm in charge, and turning it off will only happen when I'm feeling fiesty and want to taunt someone into trying to cross my 'burning river of gas'

When you live less then 100mi away from the US/Mexico border and you experience the invasion first hand, see all the trash left at the check points and see a group of six men with what appear to be AK47s (what are the chances they are only semi automatic) while bringing in pounds upon pounds of drugs into MY state, traveling through MY favorite hunting grounds - you tend to dislike the invasion more and more everyday.

What if a few of us took some time off in the morning to be in the area of the illegals, armed with cameras and signs that read "Do not hire illegals. You will be photographed!"? Photos of the offender, his/her license plate, and company logo would be taken and posted to a web site along with contact information for the comapny they represent.

I'm sure the federal law enforcement types who've been energetically looking the other way from illegal aliens for years would be all over you like white on rice.

Now if this were my property rather than "MY favorite hunting grounds" I think I might do something special to welcome them to my home. Might be hazardous to their health though. I probably live about 30 miles farther from the border than you do. :fire: :fire:

Mara Salvatruchas to take on
the Minutemen vigilantes

by
Ernesto Cienfuegos
La Voz de Aztlan

Los Angeles, Alta California - March 1, 2005 - (ACN) It looks like
there is going to be a "showdown at OK corral" on April 1st in
Tombstone, Arizona. A high level leader of the Mara Salvatruchas,
Ebner Anivel Rivera-Paz, has issued orders, from federal prison, to
members of his extremely violent organization to teach the Minutemen
vigilantes a lesson they will never forget, La Voz de Aztlan has
learned.

The Mara Salvatruchas (MS-13) are a consequence of USA policies in
Central America and are just another example of "the chickens coming
home to roost". Its members are the sons of immigrants from El
Salvador and other Central American countries that were forced to flee
because of the CIA instigated war during the Reagan Administration
that completely destroyed the physical, economic, social, religious
and cultural infrastructure of the region. MS-13 was founded in Los
Angeles by the offspring of the immigrants for protection. Later, many
of the members were deported back to Central America where they
expanded their operations and joined up with former members of the
Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMLN).

Today, the Mara Salvatruchas have grown immensely in numbers and their
network has expanded through Mexico all the way to Canada. The
extremely violent group controls large portions of the drug, stolen
vehicle and immigrant smuggling operations along the US/Mexico border
and will not put up with clowns like the Minutemen vigilantes. The
amateurish Minutemen may be in for a big surprise on April Fools Day
and on the subsequent days that they plan to patrol the border with
Mexico in Arizona. The Mara Salvatruchas are known to cut the
"testicles" of their enemies and feed them to their vicious dogs.
Other times they have cut the heads off their opponents to play
football soccer with them. These are not people to mess around with.

There is a good probability that very few cowardly Minutemen
vigilantes will show up on April 1st in Tombstone, Arizona. The
principal imbeciles organizing the event are known to be mere
loudmouths. The morons think that they will be just having "some fun
in the sun" hunting down defenseless Mexican migrant workers but
instead may meet up with the devil himself. Satan has a very warped
sense of humor and April 1st would be an excellent day to express it.

They may, or may not. But given public opinion along the border on the U.S. side this sort of thing would start a war that Washington couldn't ignore. It is also safe to say that most of the presumed victims wouldn't be the ones who caused the situation.

So I suppose we'll just have to wait and see ...

Yeah? Neither are Americans. We ain't played "Cowboys and La Raza" yet. Bring it on.

La Voz de Aztlan, "The Voice of Aztlan:" just as anti-American as ever. Nice to know we have a California Lt. Governor who is a member of this outfit. Any guess as to how much difficulty Al-Queda is having getting assistance from internal enemies like these.
