I have 300 rounds of the stuff that I bought in june. its lacquer coated and the headstamp says 5.45x39 and has a russian arsenal logo.

I bought more of it recently and the cases are unlacquered steel and the headstamp says 5.45x39 and wolf.

are there any differences between these two rounds? I can't do a cross section on any of the bullets as I don't have a bullet puller or anything capible of cutting the cartridge in half. I do know that the lacquer coated stuff penetrates through quite a bit.

should I hang onto the lacquer coated stuff? all of the wolf 5.45 I find now isn't lacquered.

no same bullet just a new case head stamp and new polymere coating on it. i have a few thousand rounds of the stuff works pretty good.

what do you shoot yours through? I have a tantal but its not from century. it groups pretty well out of my rifle. 3 to 5 inch groups at 100 yards.

Century tantal and a bulgarian AKS-74 built by me groups pretty good out of the AKS-74, the tantal has some issues lol

right on haha. I've never fired a bulgy 74, but every one I've seen looked immaculate. 74's are relatively hard to come by in my area, I jumped on the tantal as soon as I found it.

do you know where I can get different handguards and a folding stock for it? mine came with black tapco handguards and buttstock and they are ugly looking.

you could try APEX i know they have some tantal kits not sure if they have orginal hand guards and folding stock though..
