I'm a hand loader, with gazillion components, I have a range in my back yard, Now that I am 70 and totally retired I have the time, place and ammo to shoot 3 to 4 days a week.

I have had to cut back significantly on my use of centerfire pistol and rifle ammo as well as .22. I have increased the use of shotgun shells because all through the crisis they have remained relatively plentiful. I passed handgun qualifications quite easily last month with my corrections agency, but I felt the score reflected my decreased handgun shooting. The general shortage in this area is easing somewhat and last weekend I shot 40 rounds of 7.62X39 out of my Yugo/Serb Underfolder in cautious celebration.

I have but not primarily because of ammo. The pistol range a mile away from me closed. They where half the cost of everyone else, and really easy to get to after work. Now I have to drive 30mins and pay 2x as much. I think I'm going to go a lot more often now though within reason, because they seem to be experiencing a low in range business. Usually it's packed on Saturdays, so If I'm not there by 9am I just skip it. I walked in at 11am and they had plenty of open lanes.

I had to vote that I have cut down, but it is not because of the ammo shortage. I have plenty loaded and pretty well stocked on components to "roll my own" if they get low. I did start a new job last October and at the same time we have enrolled my 5 year old daughter in Dance, Gymnastics, and T-Ball.

So I have slowed down for other reasons (and now it is hot as heck in MS) but it is not because of any shortage.

No. Maybe even more now than before the panic.
I bought a new comp. pistol, and I'm doing my best to wear it out.
I stocked ahead for reloading supplies.

I've always thought about reloading but either didn't have the money or the interest. The shortage of ammo finally motivated me to start rolling my own and now I shoot more than ever. If I don't visit the range once a week, it's because of a lack of time.

I have shot a few times, mostly just bird shot though. I'm trying to hold on to the last of my 5.56, 9mm, and .45 acp.

Right now the prices are too high for my taste. I saw a deal for 500 rounds of wolf 9mm for $107 yesterday, but that seemed a bit much for steel cased. I probably should of bought it though.

I think I just broke the seal of my 2009 stash... so I might have to cut back a little. :D

I am going to slide right across the top of this shortage on my previous foresight to stock up combined with a greatly reduced desire to go shooting that comes in the form of a new pontoon boat (miss appropriated)
