It doesn't sound like fraud to me... but I would write to him letting him know that you will be seeking legal council. If that doesn't light a fire then you should talk to a lawyer.
The most embarassing thing that i had happen to me was I went through the entire day carrying and then I came home, was getting undressed, placed my gun on the table and my wife noticed.... It wasn't loaded.... blonde moment I guess.
After selling it, I thought I would be dissapointed later on that I didn't have it... but unless it was a gift or inherited, I've found that (as long as you buy a BETTER gun) I never regret it.
Gunsamerica has an auction function... but like I've said I don't really like auctions. I'd rather know what i'm getting into like with classified ad's. If I'm hunting for GREAT deal, I use their 'Make and Offer' option and see if I can get it for cheaper.
Gunmountain just doesn't seem to...
Sage of Seattle, I've been burned by auctions before for guns. I know people that have boosted up the price by bidding under other names, and I have also had to repost listings because of bidders who weren't able to purchase (legal issues).
So my preference is Gunsamerica because of my bias...
You can remove the listing and only pay the initial $2 fee.
I know that they got rid of the whole "honor system", but I understand why they did. Not everyone takes 'the high road'
They have a flat fee of $2 to list an ad and then $10 for anything sold under $1000. Like someone said they have all their prices listed. So it is about 1% I'd say.
You no longer have to repost items, you can keep them up there until they sell.
They also have an EZ ad that I've used when...
I lived in MA for a short time, and I believe if the blade wasn't longer than the palm of your hand, you weren't going to get in much trouble. Now, I know that isn't official, but when I was there it was a a simple judgement call.
I've found a lot of good deals on gunsamerica, mainly because I go almost daily to check out whats new. I know a lot of people have dropped them, but there are still plenty of listings to search through.
Also, I don't really like auctions. GB has that 15 minute thing the is frustrating to me...
were you talking about gun broker or gunsamerica?
Just to clarify your view, I know gunsamerica does have a wishlist function that will alert you when a specific gun is added.
Now as far as the search function goes... I guess it is all up to what you are looking for... I've never searched...
No I was talking about version 3.0 (what they called it in the email).
I signed on yesterday and didn't need to sign on again... I guess they figured out how to keep me signed in (which I prefer).
Hey... I just found this thread in a google search looking up New GunsAmerica. I thought I should bring it up that they just relaunched again.
I know they had problems the last time, but this site looks awesome and doesn't have any of the trouble that they had the last time.
Just thought...
I get most of mine off of gunsamerica. I also sell some there. I use them so much because I just get caught up everyday visiting the site and seeing all the new stuff.
Other than that I do get a bunch locally(can never replace), but the selection just isn't as good as online.
I am not about to get into a political debate over it. I am just going to state my opinion.
I would let my daughter do this. It is a modeling 'gig' and it goes towards something that I approve of. I would not be happy if it were nude, or worse, but that is all that I could do... disaprove...
