Thank you for the feedback. The recoil springs are still good, it hasnt gone out of battery, i did that test last month, im just paranoid.
Where can i get the springs from? Anyone recommend a good trusted place to get them?
Ive had my G23 for a few years now. I've put 5k and some change through it. My question is when is a good time to start changing parts? Extractor, springs etc? Ive heard different advise from different people. Depending on caliber, make etc.. is that true? I know some guns need more attention...
For plinking and HD?? Pros and Cons.
Only ONE thing i look for in a gun, RELIABILITY, ergonomic is the last thing on my mind, pull the trigger and it goes bang is my concern. XD has been around for a while now, not that long but its getting a real good feedback. I dont know much about the M&P.
I've heard a lot of praise from XD & CZ owners but when asked
which you have on your bedisde, its something else.. mostly a 1911 or a
wheel gun. Why is that?
Are the upgrades a "must" in order for them to work or is it something someone preffers? What are the most common changes/upgrades people do on 1911s? If say, you get a standard SA 1911 or a RIA what's the first thing youd change beside the sights and trigger work? The trigger work is it because...

Thanks for all the feedback... i had the chance to shoot them both over the weekend and THEY BOTH SHOT WELL. Im just curious how much abuse they can take. Long run. Sorry, when people say i've put 500 rounds through without a problem well, sorry that's just not good enough for me :uhoh...
Thanks for all your input. I am debating betweenn the Springer Mil-Spec & Taurus. I just wished they had a 1911 that's rock solid reliable but without the heavy price tag. Like i said before i dont really care about the grip, hammer bites etc etc.. my main concern with a firearm is RELIABILITY...
I know that when it comes to a 1911.. a "good" one, i'm looking at 900+.. i'm a very practical guy, i'm not picky when it comes to the grip, trigger etc etc.. i just wants something that's going to work, that will be able to withstand some abuse, this wont be a "safe queen", if anyone can...

Not sure what i'd do in this case, living here in California we have some of the most violent gang members out here. With that said, i'd probably testify and move. Then again i dont know. I have a large family and some of these gangsters can easily get their hands on a lot of info. A few...
Anyone own one? Would they be a good HD weapon? What's the advantage of owning a pistol-carbine?
Reason i ask this is because i've been reading and hearing around that the AR/223 is the best way to go as far as home defense.. i'm confused now. The other day on the Personal Defense show they...
There was another show i caught, this time it was on the VS instead the Outdoor chnl. It had something to do with that training facility/range in vegas.. i forgot the name of it.. it reminded me of shooting USA.
