Why not just carry a G17 full size mag? I don't carry the spare G27 mags when I have the gun on me... just plan on using the 15rd G22 mags if it comes to reloading.

I have shot GDs in 230gr through an HK USP45C and 165gr through a G22 -- no accuracy problems at all.
