dodo bird: "The millennials are still trying to figure out what a “phone book” is."
I keep getting phone books with white and yellow pages from the company that had my late wife's home office account for landline, internet, dish TV.
The contract is long gone.
The phone books keep coming.
The last one was February 2021.
I feel like Winston Smith in "1984", holding the photograph of Jones, Aaronson, and Rutherford, evidence of a past consigned to the Memory Hole.
Should I keep the phone books as evidence of a past the future won't understand, or should I just go ahead and use them for bullet penetration tests?
