45acp long guns--what are the options?

I've played with a Uzi in 45 on the range once.
Nice shooting piece.

Got a 9mm Vector Uzi and haven't found a conversion set at a good price yet.

I have a CMMG 300 upper in 9mm and it has been flawless. The recoil is about 1/2 that of my other straight blow back 9's. I have seen positive reviews on the .45 and would have no problem giving the.45 a try based on my experience with the 9mm.

I also have a Thompson 1927a1. It is a fun gun to shoot but heavy and a bit unwieldy with the 16 inch barrel.

Let us know what you chose!

Thompson is indeed a fun but heavy gun to shoot. it's the wow factor when you offer it to someone with the 50 round drum. The smile on their face after is priceless.
Ballistics by the inch published interesting data when doing testing on certain lengths of barrels. But only 200- 240 fps in longer barrels with factory ammo. That is why the 460 Rowland is very interesting.

That looks like a fun blaster. Let us know how it works for you. :)
Don't hold your breath, I've had it for about 2 years and its still in the box sitting in the safe ...
It's one of those things I had to have ... until I got home ... then, whatever possessed me just a few hours earlier was gone! I'm sure one of these days I'll bust it out tho.
