I just saw a news report by the red media that they are floating the idea of banning ammo. Also that "assault rifles" shoot explosive bullets. Just a heads up.

Must be true ... exploding ammo, I mean. I seen all them videos with them blowin' up Watermelons and all. Man, and them pistols they got are better than them aleen ray guns. Just blowed them mellons clean to Texas!:what::barf::banghead::cuss:

I have to say, Ammo ban or tax is one of the things that I think is most likely. Not to mention that the 1968 gun control act gives the President / Attorney General the ability to ban the importation of the certain weapons that are not (in the opinion of the AG) for sporting purposes. Considering that outsourcing didn't exist in 1968 it wasn't a huge threat. Today on the other hand... Make sure that you are writing to your representatives pointing this out. It is only a trap if it isn't seen before hand.

Firearms are one of the very few things that haven't been outsourced. If fact, that manufacturing industry has grown exponentially here. Think you could find a US-made AK in 1968?
