Another 10MM joins the club

Just got back from purchasing another 10MM. Decided to get a lighter gun to carry in the bush besides my 1006 so I picked up a new G20. Cost out the door was $511 for the gun, 3 high cap mags and tupperware.

Now to shop around for a better barrel.

KKM or Jarvis? Suggestions?

The point is that I'm not a factory ammo shooter. I reload. With the unsupported chamber issues with factory Glock barrel I would feel better to get an aftermarket one. One that I can also shoot lead thru if need be.

As for 800X, I have some loads doing 697fps of energy with 200gr XTP's in my 1006.

Sounds like you've already got the handloading under control.

I quit stuffing powder in at 1370 fps (180 gr XTP).

10mm and the 40S&W

Here's what I tell people regarding the two

40 S&W is to the 10mm what 38 Special is the the 357 Mag.

Not a perfect analogy for a few reasons
38 special came before 357 Mag
10mm came before 40S&W
etc. etc.
but it gets the point across.
