Coming in November, "if you got last nights email", a ne line of guns, they won't say any more? Anyone actually know?

It's supposed to be a whole line, and watching other forums, they are going to appeal to young shooters, Possibly incorporating some kind of cross training in with shooting. I predict failure, having owned a club many years ago, 95% of people who join stop after a month or two. Especially middle age to loder folks. So I can't see that working on anyone but the die hard athletic types. I just want to see the guns that's all lol.

Probably a small, single-stack 9mm or .380 in rainbow colors......
They already have the single stack 9. The only way they could do a .380 is to build them here. It's pretty hard to import .380 pistols due to the BATFE point system.

My guess...they are going to enter the AR market.

They were in the AR market years ago. I used to have a Springfield Armory AR15. Assembled in Geneseo from outsourced parts IIRC.

Are you all sure that this is not some sort of an advertisement for the next Ironman? They are all tough and sweaty - beards, tattoos, dedication in their eyes... Except Katelyn - she looks lost and lonely, so fragile. Poor girl...

It's a weird name for an entire line of weapons. Seems like no one knows anything, just a lot of wild guesses. Someone has to leak it before the due date in November. Now I am really curious, so it has to be a letdown.
Guys are saying it's a combination of guns and cross training. But that won't last, plus where are you going to do that, my range won't even allow you to draw from a holster, "I do when no one is around, or even when they are". But the "Public" doesn't, thank God". Jump rope and shoot, then swim and shoot, then sit ups and shoot, naa. None of us will be doing that.
Guns Blessed by the Pope? come on, someone from Springfield, or Maas has to know. Come on Maas, we won't say anything. Please.

Maybe it's going to have a chip in it so 'they' can use an app to track how far they have jogged with their firearm......not so crazy if you really think about the real uses a company (government) would have for something like that.

But I'm just throwing crazy darts now....

I'm old enough to remember the old TV show "The Saint" ... so when I hear this tagline, I'm thinking something totally retro 1960's vintage ... that's most likely an incorrect assumption, but that's my knee-jerk response.

Off-topic, it's been several decades since I've actually seen the TV show, but the only pistol I recall Roger Moore / Simon Templar handling was something that looked like a Walther P38. I'm pretty sure that's not where Springfield is going with their new Saint lineup. ;^)

At least the women are hot................

Yeah, I saw that.

Normally, being an old retired guy, I'd settle for "Walmart hot." But Springer's "Saint" ads have me curious. :scrutiny:

Hope it is something that does NOT include hipsters and it made in the US.

I get tired of their hype and think its sad that their line up is so heavily based on the Xd from Croatia. It's not a bad pistol at all, but wish they had more to offer in their line up beside the Xd, the M1A, and 1911's.

Actually that Croatia thing stopped me from buying the XDM, which I liked, but couldn't literally pull the trigger on, but I did get an XDS when they came out with the little 3.3" 45cal. I still have that one, but almost never carry it.
My utility carry guns are half a dozen Glocks, and a Kahr pm9, aside from steel guns. It would be silly to start with another brand at 68.
Unless something really shocking comes up, I will stick to those and 1911's.

I predict the XD Mod 2.25. The muzzle of the gun will have "Bang Zone" scribed in the steel.

This entire marketing campaign is terrible. I'm so sick of looking at images of "tough guys and tough girls". They're lame attempts to sell a product, and they hope vague catch phrases and pretty people will make it happen. I always wonder, these people are young, physically fit, and clearly chosen based on a basic ability to shoot a gun, and look pretty. So why are they all so angry looking? Last time I checked, shooting was fun, and carrying a gun was nothing worth posturing over.

Tough guy crap doesn't sell me guns. Attractive women don't sell me guns. A catchy name makes me specifically not want to buy particular guns.

Performance and practicality sell me guns.

I unsubscribed from their email service and unfollowed them on FB once I saw the first magnum facial hair and stern looking woman.

Since 1794, we've built our legacy by making firearms for the independent and the free.
 The good thing for me is that I am finding that this load of utter crap does not annoy me as much any more.

The "Saint" ... the marketing department is spinning up. Hopefully, the subject of the effort will not turn out to be another "R1" or, worse yet, an "Olestra". ;)

I think it's just even more heavily marketed "elite product" like the sig legion thing.
Might not even be any new guns, just hyped up special editions.

I believe that their blog or FaceBook page alludes to this being the first in a brand-new line of firearms. Of course, brand-new means different colors to some companies... But it seems that this is a firearm line dedicated to "operators" (or whatever catch-phrase CoD gamers are calling themselves these days...) :D

I'd be willing to bet the "big reveal" will be anticlimactic. And I love SA. But it's rare for something to live up to the hype.

Great guns and even better customer service, but their marketing team needs to be fired. I don't know that I've seen a more ridiculous marketing campaign in the gun industry.
