Somebody must be stocking up. While we were in CAL Ranch (a farm and ranch supply store) today, I was going to buy a box of 38 Special ammo for some friends that have been letting us shoot ground squirrels (with our 22s) over on their ranch. CAL Ranch didn't have any 38 Special ammo - none, zilch. So we stopped by Sportsman's Warehouse before we left town. It was the same story there.:(

Around me neck of the woods most handgun ammo is in short supply. There has been a run on handguns but there are still many available. All of the least expensive AR`s are sold out. Something I never expected to be in short supply was chest freezers. I did however find a 9 cf at Sam`s Club. I had been looking for a month. Most places say maybe as late as October before they get any in. I am well stocked on everything else.

I remember when a box of American Eagle 9mm FMJ was $14.99. (Okay, I bought my first gun about four weeks ago.)

Fortunately, I didn't know about lower prices in the past, so I stocked up.

Welcome aboard. That's pretty funny.

Good for you for not putting it off any longer. And that isn't that bad of price... I've seen worse.

We started stocking up on dog food right after all the poisoning incidents made the news. The idea was to keep a year ahead so that if there was another poisoning incident we'd have time to react. We lost our dogs about a year ago but we're doing the same thing with the cat.

I don't want to be too specific but when Coronageddon hit I told my wife to take note of what we ran short of and what we'd have been better off having a stock of and as the shortages have eased we've been stocking those things.

First day Cabelas reopens, and there is one lonely, spendy, box of 30 Carbine ammo. But...beggers can't be choosers...

I made an order with Powder Valley the other day, needed some StaBall 6.5 powder and some 108 ELDs, almost added some primers to the order just to spread the hazmat out some more, but changed my mind, I just don't need them.

If you live with No Walls around your neighborhood and no mayor nearby, you won’t be a target of any righteous mobs and the Independent Contractor Thugs.

Some of you watched recent news.

I still look for a little .22LR to replace bits of the reserve supply which Often get used.

I bought some .22lr, 9mm practice ammo, several extended mags and a couple of pistols recently in light of the current situation(s). That got me wondering: is anyone else stocking up ?
I feel like I have adequate stockpiles of whatever I might need.

That does not mean I might not pick up some bargains here and there, or that I might decide at some point I "need" something new or in addition to what I already have.
