Looks nice. I like it. Don't know if I would want to lug it in the jungle, but I will probably never have to either. ;)

Only because its different can I call that AR classy. Looking at AR picture threads for too long makes me go color blind.

There already growing on me:) Don't know how I missed the link, but I wouldn't mind just the dark walnut looking stock, with the rest of it traditional tacticool:D

It's different; I don't think it particularly looks better or worse than black plastic. I don't like the short barrel guard, though. Having the front sight post only halfway down the barrel looks really dumb, IMO.

Sigh... I hate to admit this, but I like the walnut. I think it looks cool and different without being gaudy, though it walks a pretty thin line there.

Of course, I also happen agree with Brian: There ain't no way I am spending $189.00 on that stock. Ever. For $189.00 I can buy half a case of .223, and in the long run I would much rather be able to shoot my AR than just look at it.

I think you're nuts, but it is also a very unique look. I don't have any ARs, but I think I would put the wood furniture on one AR if I had multiple.

I swear I've seen pictures of early M16 models that sported wood furniture in the hands of Special Forces troops. I saw it in a "First Book of" series of books that dates back probably the early 60's. It was on the front cover.

I think it would make a great presentation rifle. Something you can emboss, present to someone than have them display it on the wall. Don't see any practical use for it.

That's pretty. Nothing like a nice piece of wood to make any rifle look better.
travellingJeff, have you seen the pink stocks available for AR's?
