I'll start. I am shooting a Canik TP9SF, Taurus TX22, Steyr RFP 22, HK VP9, S&W M&P 22.
HaAre You Shooting This Weekend? If So, What?
Hopefully an Elk.
Color me green.................. I have to drive 20 miles.Every day I shoot 96 rounds (speed loaders, multiples 6), of .38 Special, 2.9 grains of Clays, 125 grain, home cast bullets, fired at my backyard swinging steel bowling pin set up. I shoot double-action only. I use one of my two old K38's. The one I use most is a four-screw (M14), the other (older one) is a five-screw with no "K" nor "M14 on the frame. I shoot out of the open door of my pole barn and this Summer I added a shed inside from which to shoot that is now heated with a kerosene heater to lengten my shooting season...it gets cold in Michigan with lots of snow. In the past my shooting season would end when the temperature got below 60 degrees (too cold on the hands), but now with the inside shooting shed with a hinged window to shoot out of, I intend on shooting while I can still make it comfortable...hoping to be able to shoot all year with my current set-up.
Well, I lied......Managed to sneak out and shoot my new to me Charter Arms Target Bulldog in .357. I see some Pachmayr grips in my near future, lol.Nothing for me, Was planning to take advantage of the range on opening day of rifle season, figured it would be pretty empty. Mother nature had other plans, and gifted us with wet heavy snow.
Looking at the forecast, I probably won't make it out until next weekend. I have a number of rifles with scopes to zero: Diamondback DB10, T/C Compass, Mossberg 464 and a Ruger 10/22. Also have a couple of rifles to test fire, hoping for decent weather soon.
I lied too. All I shot was TX22, Steyer RFP and Extar EP9 (In my avatar).Well, I lied......Managed to sneak out and shoot my new to me Charter Arms Target Bulldog in .357. I see some Pachmayr grips in my near future, lol.
