  1. THR Migration in Progress

We are at the point where THR is running on the new cluster, and I'm tweaking peformance.  This means there will be the occasional database server restart, possibly some web server tweaks, and maybe even a reboot of the entire server.

If you run into an error this afternoon, count to 10 and try again.  Odds are the problem was very short lived.

    Thanks for your patience.

I know that beauty is in the eye of the beerholder, but I can’t decide whether this is ‘beautifully atrocious’...or ‘atrociously beautiful’:

Probably a little of both ;-)

I don’t know what to think but I know I don’t like the spur wheel
    Otherwise it’s “interesting”

Certainly unique to Texas....of course Cadillac's with long horns attached to the hood were too. Price of oil must be up, only a Texas oil man could express his wealth so distinctly.

I can appreciate all the time and talent that was put into the gun but, that is the god-awfullest pistol I have ever seen.
I don't like engraving in the first place. If someone gave it to me, I would sell it as quick as I could.

Bet it shoots low. Even with a sig combat hold. And for 52k, Must come with some of that intellectual property that the government keeps procuring. Not sure about the extended beaver spur/wartenberg wheel though.

Loose the spur crap and that front sight and it would be a nice BBQ gun. Those to items are just gaudy amd impractical.

Engraving is very nice and looks to be top notch, and the stocks are a thing of beauty. A little touch of engraving on the safety would be a nice add on..

I could live with it if it weren't for the spur beavertail and the saddlehorn front sight but it would still be a little much for me. As it currently stands with the unusable front sight and the beavertail modification, if someone gave it to me, I'd have to get rid of it somehow.

You should go see a specialist if you have thoughts of spending $50,000 on that.

I like the sales pitch though.

Not sure that’s always a good thing. Lots of work though, making something “unique”, that is for sure.

It has transcended its original purpose and form and is now a sculpture. Its a pedestal piece and demands track lighting and artistic contemplation. There is the box.... and then there is waaaay outside the box.

Something to buy when you have TOO much money to spend. $51,000 makes it even uglier, actually offensive and repulsive. I could think of better ways of investing money, Like a Children's Hospital donation.

that BBQ gun was poorly thought out as that spur would definitely make me rethink my carry options.

I'm trying to wrap my head around a Texas edition Sig. That's about as natural as a Texas edition Audi with Longhorns on the hood.

    Excellent craftsmanship!!!!

    Horrible taste!!!

Does it come with gold embossed snakeskin boots? A ten gallon hat and a belt buckle the size of a dinner plate?

Texas, not Georgia. You mean J. R. Ewing. He probably inherited from Jock Ewing.

And I don't like the spur either .... gives new meaning to "slidebite." :what:

What else could possibly be done to it.

Although not even close to being as bad as this One Million Dollar Gem. Lol
