I can get dealer pricing with my C&R...

Midwayusa seems priced high for ammo these days even with dealer prices.

I was preparing to place an order with AIM surplus for mostly C&R calibers, but before I do can anyone direct me someplace else that would have substantial savings over AIM (like 5% better to make it worth the effort)?

I'm not buying a HUGE quantity, just a few thousand rounds of assorted calibers.

Thanks!

+1 on ammoman.com My UPS delivery man hates delivering to my house because he has to put on a hernia belt.

CTD used to be good, but their prices have fallen in line with everybody else, and their shipping seems to be exorbitant these days. I'm finding the best values locally myself. If ammoman.com had anything in stock, they'd win hands down.

I use ammodirect.com the prices are a bit lower than ammoman. They make their own brand of ammo called kinematics, It's very good ammo for the range and they also have reloads and self defense and hunting ammo as well as ruger only 45colt at half the price of buffalo bore. Te only issue is they can take up to 2 weeks since It's a small operation.

quick check on 9mm prices at ammodirect.com reveals that they are higher than the Winchester White Box from Wal-mart by about 15%.

I think I'll stick to Wal Mart for my 9mm practice ammo. No shipping charge, get it right now, best prices.

WWB is gettting harder and harder to beat. I was considering a large 9mm purchase but after seeing the price was higher at all my usual venders (ammo2go, sportsmanguide, ect.) and worse yet that the bulk prices seem to offer almost no savings these days just bought it at wally world.

Normally if the price is the same at wallyworld and an online vendor I go online and the sales tax I'd have to pay at mao-mart supports a UPS worker's family instead of the state legislature. I figure it's a double win that way.

I propose that in the futre WWB purchased at Wal*Mart be known at WWWB.

On a side note it is also helpful to talk your friends into buying guns of the same caliber you have, or buying guns in a caliber they have. This way you can split up bulk orders. It may even be possible to arrange group buys on ammo if you are into that whole shooting forum thing.
