The little Boomer really doesn’t recoil like you would imagine.... Its my pocket revolver ... Much more bite than a 38Spl ... and recoil similar to a 38spl +P ...
I stick it in my jacket pocket .. or back pocket when I walk to the mail box .. run to the market ... or carry it after work in my scrub top .....

I knew the porting would make it less stout in the recoil department, I have MagNa-Porting on a .357 snub. my only concern with the Boomer is the lack of a front sight ramp makes accuracy difficult.

The fighting revolver is becoming like the Buffalo of the Great West.
Back in the not so far past there were two problems with autos. They were either not reliable with anything other then ball ammo or just not 100% reliable with any ammo.
But times have changed. We have better guns and much better ammunition now.
Most often the fighting revolver is at a disadvantage in a gun fighting today. Five to six rounds Vs ten to seventeen rounds.
I know that there are those that will say that all it takes is one we’ll aimed shot to stop the fight. My reply to that is that they have never looked at another human being in their sights or been in a gun fight.
But the fighting revolver will always have a place in my gun safe and my heart. I have always loved a good revolver. And a big revolver with a big knife is so cool.
